This is an excellent opportunity to join a network security company and utilize the latest systems and equipment to support our network availability.\nResponsibilities:\nWork under the guidance of senior network engineers to deploy new communication network for Fortinet current/new offices within the USA.\nExecute initial configurations of Fortigates, FortiSwitches, console servers, network PDUs, monitoring devices, etc.\nInstall and upgrade network hardware; configure firewall policies.\nGathering information, documenting, and updating network topologies.\nOrdering network devices, rack-mounting, and cabling.\nRespond, troubleshoot and resolve first-level support requests\nCoordinates and communicates with users\nParticipate in an on-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours\nTravels about 7 times per year within the US to assist with deployment and maintenance of Fortinet offices networks.\nSkills and requirements:\nUnderstanding of networking hardware and infrastructure\nExperience with network devices installation and network physical connections\nVery good understanding of Layer 2 and Layer 3 network protocols\nFortinet NSE 4 certification is a requirement for this position\nOther certifications in network engineering are a plus\nStrong multi-tasking abilities\nExcellent teamwork, can-do attitude, and communication skills with end-users are essential.\nExcellent English oral and written.\nEducation:\nAA/BS degree in Computer Science, Engineering (or equivalent education and experience)\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.\nFortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time as well as a comprehensive leave program.
