# Network Engineer

This is a newly created position to help meet the IT needs of Fortinet’s rapidly growing workforce. With over 15,000 people worldwide (and growing) and the implementation of new IT systems, we are looking for a beginner-to-intermediate-level Network Engineer to help us ensure 24x7 network support. In this critical role you will be based at Fortinet Headquarters at Sunnyvale, California and support our global distribution of network and server systems. This is an excellent opportunity to join a network security company and utilize the latest systems and equipment to support our network availability. Responsibilities: Work under the guidance of senior network engineers to deploy new communication network for Fortinet current/new offices within the USA. Execute initial configurations of Fortigates, FortiSwitches, console servers, network PDUs, monitoring devices, etc. Install and upgrade network hardware; configure firewall policies. Gathering information, documenting, and updating network topologies. Ordering network devices, rack-mounting, and cabling. Respond, troubleshoot and resolve first-level support requests Coordinates and communicates with users Participate in an on-call rot
