We are currently seeking a dynamic Data Center Operations Engineer to contribute to the success of our rapidly growing business.\nYou would act as the Data Center Operations Engineer.\nAs a Data Center Operations Engineer, you will:\nManage day-to-day operational activities across Fortinet APAC data center locations.\nSupport new data center builds, infrastructure deployments, upgrades, relocations, and decommissioning activities throughout the asset lifecycle.\nCollaborate with local and global technical teams to troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and connectivity issues.\nCoordinate with contractors, data center providers, and vendors for equipment installation, maintenance, and other on-site activities.\nIdentify, troubleshoot, and appropriately escalate operational and technical issues as required.\nDocument operational tasks, configuration details, troubleshooting procedures, maintenance activities, and operational processes.\nAssist with asset procurement, deployment, inventory management, and audits as required.\nFocus on continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for automation, optimization, and process enhancements.\nParticipate in an on-call rotation to provide after-hours support and ensure service availability.\nWe Are Looking For:\nAn insightful and influential collaborator to join our team. We encourage you to apply for this position if you have the following qualities:\n1-2 years of experience in data center operations or supporting mission-critical infrastructure environments.\nKnowledge of data center infrastructure, including servers, networking, power systems, and cabling standards and best practices.\nBasic knowledge of network administration and industry-standard networking concepts.\nStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately when needed.\nExperience with infrastructure and systems monitoring platforms such as Zabbix, Nagios, Grafana, or equivalent tools.\nExperience with at least one scripting language such as Bash or Python.\nStrong communication, documentation, and organizational skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and with external partners.\nSelf-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.\nWillingness to learn new technologies and perform hands-on infrastructure work when required.\nAbility to communicate effectively in both English and Japanese.\nFamiliarity with PMP, ITIL, or related operational and project management methodologies is preferred.\nExperience working within an ISO 27001-certified or ISO 27001-aligned environment is preferred.\nWhy Join Us:\nAt Fortinet, we embrace diversity and inclusivity.
