The dedicated Professional Services consultant is assigned to the end user for the duration of this agreement. He/she will work with the end user to define the specific daily activities.\nJob Responsibilities\nThe Professional Services Consultant daily activities include but are not limited to:\n· Assisting client staff with day to day Fortinet products operation/ support\n· Development of methods of procedure (MOPs) for migrations, upgrades and updates\n· Development of test plans and test new features and/or releases\n· Verifying configurations and implementing best practices\n· Performing interoperability evaluation of devices that interact with Fortinet products\n· Training and knowledge transfer to client staff\n· Develop and maintain core competency on Fortinet’s product line and technologies\n· Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion\nRequirements\n7+ Years experience in LAN/WAN /Internet consulting, support and/or administration\n5+ Years experience with Network Security Products\n2+ Years experience with Fortinet products\nExperience working as a Professional Services Consultant/ Engineer a plus\nSolid understanding of security and networking principals and technologies such as:\n· Network Security Infrastructure - Switching, Routing, Load Balancing, WiFi\n· Security systems - Firewall, IPS, VPN, Antivirus, AntiSpam, Web Filtering, Application Control\nExcellent troubleshooting skills\nOutstanding oral communication and presentation skills\nExperience at working both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment\nConform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities\nReact to project adjustments and alterations promptly and efficiently\nFlexible during times of change\nAbility to elicit cooperation from a wide variety of sources, including upper management, clients, and other departments\nAbility to bring project to successful completion through political sensitivity\nStrong commitment and self-driven individual\nAble to travel as needed\nEducation\nBachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or related work related experience\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $133,000-$163,000. Fortinet offers employees a variety of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k), 11 paid holidays, vacation time, and sick time, as well as a comprehensive leave program.\nWage ranges are based on various factors, including the labour market, job type, and job level.
