In general, testing is to cover various features combinations integrated with various Fortinet products, in a way most customer would be deploying their real-time production networks; with real-clients and traffic. Also to test Interoperability between Fortinet-devices and 3rd party devices or clients. The QA Engineer must be able to collaborate with the team and work efficiently and effectively, in a fast-paced work environment, to identify the highest risks that must be addressed for determining release readiness.\nJob Responsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and execute detailed test plans (functional, regression, performance).\nBuild complex testbeds integrating multiple Fortinet and third-party devices.\nPerform interoperability testing (Fortinet + 3rd-party devices/clients).\nAnalyze customer-reported issues, review logs, replicate defects in lab, validate fixes.\nIdentify, isolate, document, and track bugs through resolution.\nProduce accurate QA reports on time.\nBuild and maintain test infrastructure for feature validation and defect reproduction.\nPerform root cause analysis and collaborate with developers on debugging.\nJob Requirements:\n3-6+ years of wireless QA experience.\nStrong understanding of QA methodologies (test plans, bug tracking, failure documentation).\nNetworking and Wi-Fi protocol knowledge:802.11 a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be\n\nExperience with:Functional, stress/load, and performance testing\nLinux/UNIX/Windows OS\nDebugging and log analysis\n\nWireless tools:Wireshark\nOmnipeek\nIxia Veriwave\nChariot\niperf\n\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical skills.\nExcellent written and verbal English communication.\nPython automation experience.\nExperience working in Agile development environments.\nAdvanced degree in Computer Science or related field.\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science/Engineering, or equivalent.\nMust be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship\nThe US base salary range for this full-time position is $130,000-$151,000.
