We need a Shopify developer who is equally strong on the front end and the back end, communicates clearly, and ships work that doesn't need to be QA'd twice.\nYou'll work directly with our PM team on a mix of retainer accounts and one-time builds. Tickets range from small theme tweaks to custom app development and complex middleware/API work.\nWhat you'll do\nBuild, customize, and maintain Shopify and Shopify Plus themes\nDevelop custom sections, blocks, and templates using Liquid, JSON, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript\nWork with Shopify APIs (Admin, Storefront, GraphQL) and webhooks\nBuild simple custom apps when off-the-shelf solutions don't fit\nInvestigate bugs, propose approaches, and provide accurate estimates before starting work\nQA your own work across devices, browsers, and user states\nCommunicate progress and blockers clearly through ClickUp and Slack\nMust have\n3-4+ years of Shopify development experience (Plus a strong plus)\nStrong front-end: Liquid, modern JavaScript, HTML, CSS, responsive, performance\nStrong back-end: Admin API, Storefront API, GraphQL, webhooks\nExperience building custom Shopify apps (Node.js, Ruby, or similar)\nHigh attention to detail - pixel-perfect front end, clean code\nAvailable for regular updates with EST overlap\nClear written and spoken communicator\nAbility to attend client meetings as needed\nNice to have\nShopify Functions, Hydrogen, or Oxygen\nERP experience (D365, NetSuite, SAP) or PIM (Salsify, Akeneo)\nKlaviyo, Bloomreach, SearchSpring, Rebuy\nADA/WCAG remediation\nGA4, GTM, structured data\nHow we work\nClickUp for ticket tracking\nClickup for daily comms\nClear scopes, clear acceptance criteria, no surprises\nTo apply please indicate:\n1.
