This role provides an opportunity to build hands-on experience across cybersecurity operations, risk management, and security engineering while working alongside global security, infrastructure, and product teams.\nThe successful candidate will collaborate with Fluke, Fortive Shared Services, and other Fortive Operating Companies (OpCos) to help implement security controls, support compliance initiatives, improve security visibility, and reduce organizational risk.\nThis role is ideal for an early-career security professional who is technically curious, eager to learn, and interested in developing into a well-rounded security engineer.\nKey Responsibilities Security Operations & EngineeringSupport day-to-day security operations activities.\nAssist with security reviews of new applications, services, and technology solutions.\nSupport endpoint security, identity protection, email security, cloud security, and monitoring platforms.\n\nAssist with deployment, administration, and tuning of security technologies.\n\nAssist with testing and validation of new security controls and capabilities.\n\nPartner closely with Infrastructure, Service Desk, Cloud, and Engineering teams to resolve security issues.\n\nParticipate in cross-functional initiatives involving enterprise platforms and cloud service\n\nIncident Response & Investigations\nParticipate in cybersecurity incident investigations.\nGather and analyze logs, alerts, telemetry, and forensic artifacts.\nCoordinate with internal stakeholders and Fortive security teams during active incidents.\nAssist with documentation of incidents, findings, and lessons learned.\nSupport tabletop exercises and response readiness activities.\nSecurity Awareness & CollaborationWork with users and technical teams to promote security best practices.\nAssist in developing security communications and awareness materials.\nParticipate in tabletop exercises and security improvement initiatives.\nFortive & OpCo PartnershipCollaborate with Fortive Shared Services and peer OpCos on security initiatives.\nParticipate in working sessions to understand enterprise standards and controls.\nHelp evaluate solutions and ensure alignment with Fluke business requirements.\nShare lessons learned and contribute to cross-company security improvement efforts.\nRequired Qualifications2-3 years of experience in cybersecurity, IT infrastructure, systems administration, or related technical fields.\nBasic understanding of:Windows and Microsoft 365 environments\nNetworking concepts\nIdentity and access management\nVulnerability management\nSecurity monitoring and response\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nDemonstrated willingness to learn and take ownership.\nPreferred QualificationsSecurity+, SC-900, AZ-900, or similar certifications.\nExposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS.\nExperience with Microsoft security technologies.\nExperience supporting compliance or audit activities.\nFamiliarity with scripting or automation tools such as PowerShell.\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
