Or 2 years post-secondary technical education plus 1 year customer service experience.\n\nPreferred post-secondary degree or certification in Mechanical, Electronics, Electrical or other field.\nPreferred 2 years customer support experience.\nPreferred experience either in a field service environment, in biomedical support in a hospital environment, or in a related industry such as medical devices. \nPreferred Microsoft A+ certification or equivalent computer hardware certification.\nCompetencies:\nExcellent mechanical troubleshooting, problem-solving and technical learning proficiency.\nDemonstrated ability to use and quickly learn office-based computer programs such as Outlook, Excel and SalesForce for administrative activities. \nDemonstrated excellence in achieving top level customer satisfaction.\nAble to work as a part of a multi-functional work group, demonstrating excellent verbal and written communication as well as collaboration skills.\nDemonstrated ability to autonomously prioritize schedule and flexibly handle shifting priorities.\nDriven to deliver results with persistence, as well as detail and process orientation.\nPreferred knowledge of Computer Networking, Electronics & Electrical basics.\nPreferred familiarity with test equipment.\nPreferred basic understanding of business practices, processes, and associated costs of managing a territory and parts inventory.\nAdditional requirements:\nWilling to spend workday traveling to hospital/surgery center environments.\nAble to travel overnight locally, regionally, and nationally.\nThis position requires on-call responsibilities, including weekend call coverage on a rotating basis.\nWhile performing the responsibilities of this job, the employee is required to talk and hear. The role often requires to sit and use their hands and fingers, to handle or feel. It occasionally requires to stand, walk, reach with arms and hands, climb or balance, and to stoop and kneel. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision.
