ServiceChannel offers a unique opportunity to work on complex challenges, innovate at scale, and make a tangible difference in the facilities management landscape.\nKey Responsibilities\nDesign, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance web applications using modern front-end frameworks and back-end technologies.\nWrite clean, efficient, testable, and reusable code that adheres to best practices and coding standards, ensuring long-term maintainability.\nEnhance and optimize existing systems and architecture, improving performance, scalability, and user experience.\nCollaborate cross-functionally with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Project Managers, DevOps, QA, and fellow engineers to define, design, and deliver new features and improvements.\nTranslate business requirements into technical specifications, ensuring alignment between technical solutions and business goals.\nIdentify and resolve performance bottlenecks and bugs, ensuring application responsiveness and reliability.\nContribute to code reviews, automation, and continuous integration efforts, maintaining high code quality and development efficiency.\nStay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and integrating innovative solutions where appropriate.\nFollow established SDLC processes and development methodologies, ensuring compliance and consistency across the software lifecycle.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.\nMinimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in full stack development using .NET and React.js.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.\nExcellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.\nRequired Technical Skills\nProven experience in developing robust APIs using Microsoft .NET C#, ASP.NET MVC, and .NET Core.\nStrong expertise in Entity Framework and LINQ for efficient data access and manipulation.\nProficiency in front-end development, preferably using React.js, with a solid understanding of modern JavaScript frameworks.\nHands-on experience with SQL Server, including performance tuning and query optimization.\nSolid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and familiarity with tools such as JIRA, GitHub, and CI/CD pipelines.\nStrong grasp of modern software design principles, coding best practices, and scalable architecture patterns.\nProficient in unit testing and a sound understanding of test automation frameworks and principles.\nPreferred Skills & Experience\nPractical experience with cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services (AWS), including deployment and monitoring.\nExperience with MongoDB.\nFamiliarity with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash) for logging and analytics.\nExperience working with Azure services such as Functions, Service Bus, Storage Accounts, and App Services.\nExposure to microservices architecture, including design, development, and deployment.\nExperience with continuous integration tools such as TeamCity or Jenkins.\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive’s essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
