The successful candidate will work across multiple teams to help identify, prioritize, track, remediate, and report on cybersecurity risks while supporting strategic and operational security initiatives.\nThis position is ideal for an early-to-mid career security professional with a strong technical background who enjoys a blend of hands-on technical work, operational coordination, data analysis, and security program support.\nKey Responsibilities\nSecurity Operations & Incident Response\nAssist in the triage, investigation, and coordination of security incidents.\nSupport incident response processes, documentation, evidence gathering, tracking, and post-incident reviews.\nMonitor and triage escalated security alerts from security platforms.\nSupport development of operational dashboards and reporting automation.\nVulnerability Management\nSupport the vulnerability management lifecycle from identification through remediation validation.\nReview vulnerability scan results and work with infrastructure, application, product, and asset owners to drive remediation efforts.\nTrack remediation progress against established SLAs and risk priorities.\nAssist in developing metrics, dashboards, and executive reporting on vulnerability posture.\nCoordinate exception reviews and remediation follow-up activities. \nProject Support\nSupport execution of strategic cybersecurity initiatives and remediation programs.\nSupport & track action items, risks, milestones, dependencies, and project deliverables.\nAssist with security tool implementations, process improvements, and operational maturity initiatives.\nHelp maintain program documentation, procedures, and reporting.\nSecurity Governance & Compliance Support\nSupport audit preparation, evidence collection, and control validation activities.\nAssist with policy maintenance, risk assessments, and security review activities.\nHelp maintain security metrics, dashboards, and management reporting.\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in Information Security, Infrastructure, Systems Administration, IT Operations, or a related technical field.\nStrong understanding of: IT - Windows, Active Directory / Entra ID, Networking & Firewall Fundamentals\nSecurity - Security monitoring, Incident response, Endpoint security tools, Patch management processes\n\nAbility to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders.\nStrong organizational and project coordination skills.\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with: CrowdStrike\nZscaler\nMicrosoft O365\nSIEM platforms\n\nExposure to GRC and compliance programs\nSecurity+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, or similar certifications.\nExperience supporting security projects and remediation programs.\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
