The successful candidate will work across endpoint management, identity, collaboration platforms, operating systems, and core infrastructure technologies while building broad technical expertise in enterprise IT environments.\nThis position is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on technical work, solving complex operational challenges, driving continuous improvement, and expanding their skills across infrastructure, endpoint management, and enterprise technology services.\nKey Responsibilities\nSystem Support & Device Lifecycle\nProvide operational support for enterprise system technologies, including device lifecycle management, compliance, patching, and deployment activities.\n\nServe as a primary Fluke point of contact for system-related initiatives, coordinating with Fortive Shared Services.\n\nSupport new software initiatives, operating system upgrades, and remediation activities while ensuring effective communication and follow-through.\n\nAssist with vulnerability remediation efforts by coordinating actions, tracking progress, and helping drive resolution across stakeholders.\n\nVulnerability & Remediation Management\nSupport vulnerability remediation initiatives across endpoints and infrastructure platforms.\n\nPartner with Information Security, infrastructure teams, and application owners to prioritize and resolve technical findings.\n\nTrack remediation activities and provide progress reporting against established objectives.\n\nAssist with patch management, security updates, and technology lifecycle improvements.\n\nContribute to reducing operational and technology risk through proactive remediation and continuous improvement.\n\nInfrastructure Operations & Shared Services Partnership\nPartner with Fortive Shared Services to support infrastructure operations, service delivery, and technical projects.\n\nAssist with activities related to identity services, Microsoft 365, collaboration platforms, cloud services, networking, and core infrastructure technologies.\n\nSupport troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues affecting business operations.\n\nContribute to infrastructure modernization, technology refresh, and operational improvement initiatives.\n\nContinuous Improvement\nDevelop and maintain operational documentation, procedures, and technical runbooks.\n\nSupport automation efforts using PowerShell or similar scripting tools.\n\nAssist with reporting, dashboards, and operational metrics related to endpoint management, remediation activities, and infrastructure health.\n\nIdentify process improvement opportunities that increase efficiency, consistency, and service quality.\n\nParticipate in projects that improve the organization's technology and security posture.\n\nRequired Qualifications\n3+ years of experience in systems administration, endpoint management, infrastructure operations, or a related IT background.\n\nExperience supporting Windows operating systems and enterprise endpoint environments.\n\nFamiliarity with Microsoft Intune, Active Directory, Entra ID, Microsoft 365, or similar enterprise technologies.\n\nUnderstanding of patch management, vulnerability remediation, and technology lifecycle management.\n\nStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.\n\nExperience working across multiple teams to deliver technical solutions.\n\nStrong written, verbal, and organizational communication skills.\n\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
