Utilize the latest full stack technologies and cloud services to produce exceptional software within a continuous integration/continuous delivery environment.\nDuties & Responsibilities:\nWork closely with Product Management and other functional teams to evaluate, develop and maintain product features for Provation products\nMentor and provide professional development for team members\nHelp plan and prioritize engineering team activities and backlog\nDevelop product expertise, technical mastery and build a team\nEnsure standards and framework compliance across the development team\nLead team to deliver planned commitments on time\nLearn, understand and leverage cutting edge technologies to gain competitive advantage\nCreatively brainstorm and innovate on prototypes as well as future products and features to drive the business forward\nProactively research industry trends and best practices to apply them as necessary\nDeliver high-quality and on-schedule work according to Agile software development methodology\nParticipate in Agile activities including daily stand ups, estimations, and backlog grooming and reviews\nProvide internal development support which includes delivering fast and high-quality fixes to urgent production issues\nActively create opportunities for code/component re-use\nLeverage existing frameworks, platforms and patterns to increase time to market\nPromote and ensure standards and framework compliance across the development team\nParticipate in code reviews providing guidance to Development and QA team members\nJob Requirements:\nEducation & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related degree preferred or equivalent work experience\nAt 7+ years software development experience\nProficiency with C# and .NET\nExperience with Entity Framework / EF Core\nExperience with web-based technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, CSS, LESS and HTML5\nExperience with Angular (2+) and client-side web development\nExperience with unit testing frameworks such as XUnit and Jasmine\nExperience with SQL and relational databases such as SQL Server\nExperience with cloud platforms such as Azure\nSolid knowledge of security and encryption best practices\nExperience with AI coding tools such as GitHub Copilot\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
