The role is responsible for ensuring calibration accuracy, maintaining metrological traceability, supporting ISO/IEC 17025 and RvA compliance, and contributing to new capability development for Fluke's Test & Measurement service business in India.\nThis position will play a key role in laboratory operations, helping improve calibration quality, technical capability, productivity, and customer satisfaction. The successful candidate will work closely with laboratory leadership, global metrology experts, and cross-functional teams to support calibration services, capability expansion, process automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong technical knowledge of Test & Measurement instruments, calibration principles, and quality systems with hands-on laboratory experience and a passion for process improvement and automation.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform calibration of Test & Measurement equipment in accordance with Fluke procedures and ISO/IEC 17025 requirements.\nExecute daily calibration activities and achieve committed Turn-Around-Time (TAT) targets.\nMaintain metrological traceability of calibration standards and reference equipment.\nSupport troubleshooting and technical investigation of complex calibration issues. And support investigation of customer escalations related to calibration quality and technical performance.\nSupport implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the laboratory quality management system.\nEnsure compliance with:ISO/IEC 17025\nRvA accreditation requirements\nFluke Quality Management System\n\nSupport internal audits, external audits, proficiency testing, and corrective action activities.\nAssist with validation of calibration methods and technical procedures.\nParticipate in continuous improvement projects using FBS, Lean, or Six Sigma methodologies.\nWork closely with Service Engineers, Quality teams, Engineering teams, and Global Metrology teams to resolve technical issues.\nRequired Qualifications\nEducation\nBachelor's degree in:Electronics Engineering\nElectrical Engineering\nInstrumentation Engineering\nMetrology\nPhysics\nOther relevant technical disciplines\n\nExperience\n1-3 years of experience in calibration, metrology, laboratory operations, quality engineering, or Test & Measurement services.\nExperience working within ISO17025 accredited laboratories.\nExperience supporting calibration and measurement activities.\nTechnical Competencies\nStrong knowledge of:Calibration principles\nMeasurement uncertainty\nTraceability requirements\nTest & Measurement equipment\n\nFamiliarity with RvA accreditation requirements.\nAbility to interpret technical specifications and calibration procedures.\nStrong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience with Fluke, Tektronix, Keysight, Rohde & Schwarz, or equivalent Test & Measurement equipment.\nExperience with MVS procedure development and automation.\nExperience with Python, LabVIEW, MET/CAL, MET/TEAM, or related automation tools.\nExperience supporting new capability setup and NPI projects.\nKnowledge of root cause analysis, CAPA, and quality improvement methodologies.\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
