Quality Strategy, Test Planning & Execution\nDefine and execute comprehensive QA strategies, standards, and best practices for functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.\n\nArchitect, implement, and maintain advanced automated test suites for web, API, and cloud-based applications using frameworks such as xUnit, WebDriver IO, Playwright, Jasmine, or similar.\n\nLead code reviews and provide technical feedback to development and QA team members.\n\nOversee the development and refinement of quality assurance processes and documentation.\n\n2. Automation, CI/CD & Process Optimization\nDesign and optimize automated testing solutions integrated with CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery.\n\nMonitor and report on test results, defects, and quality metrics, driving improvements based on data and trends.\n\nEvaluate, select, and implement new testing tools and technologies to enhance efficiency and coverage across teams.\n\n3. Healthcare Compliance & Secure Testing\nEnsure QA practices adhere to healthcare standards (HIPAA, HL7, FHIR) and secure coding guidelines.\n\nValidate interoperability and data integrity for systems integrating with EHRs and clinical platforms.\n\nChampion compliance and data protection throughout the QA process.\n\n4. Agile Leadership, Collaboration & Mentorship\nLead and participate in agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.\n\nMentor and coach QA engineers, fostering technical growth and best practices.\n\nCollaborate closely with Product Management, Development, and other functional teams to evaluate, develop, and maintain product features for Provation products.\n\nPromote strong communication and teamwork across product, QA, and clinical teams.\n\n5. Problem Solving, Process Improvement & Continuous Learning\nApply advanced analytical thinking to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve complex issues.\n\nDrive continuous improvement initiatives and contribute to process enhancements across the QA organization.\n\nStay current with industry trends, testing tools, and methodologies, and share insights with the team.\n\nRequired Qualifications:\nEducation & Experience Guidelines\nBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.\n\n5-8 years of relevant work experience\n\nExperience with advanced test automation, cloud platforms (Azure, AWS), and healthcare compliance.\n\nProven experience leading QA teams or initiatives.\n\nOccasional travel may be required.\n\nOther Preferred Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications:\nTesting Tools: xUnit, WebDriver IO, Playwright, Jasmine.\n\nCloud Platforms: Azure, AWS familiarity; certification is a plus.\n\nHealthcare Standards: HIPAA, HL7, FHIR.\n\nVersion Control & Collaboration Tools: Git, GitHub, Jira.\n\nAgile Development: Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.\n\nCertifications: ISTQB, CSTE, or similar QA certifications.\n\nExperience mentoring or leading QA engineers and driving quality strategy.\n\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
