This is an individual contributor role with no direct people management responsibilities.\nKey Responsibilities Squad Product Management\nOwn and maintain the squad roadmap and prioritized backlog.\nDefine, refine, and prioritize user stories, technical requirements, and acceptance criteria.\nPartner with the Engineering Manager and technical leads to establish sprint priorities.\nParticipate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives.\nEnsure work items are clear, measurable, and aligned to Infrastructure portfolio priorities.\nBalance new feature work, technical debt, operational improvements, support needs, and modernization efforts.\nInfrastructure Portfolio Support\nSupport execution of the broader Infrastructure portfolio roadmap.\nTranslate portfolio priorities into squad-level deliverables and measurable outcomes.\nCoordinate dependencies across CloudOps, SRE, DBA, DevOps, Security, and Frontline teams.\nTrack milestones, risks, blockers, and delivery commitments for assigned initiatives.\nContribute to quarterly and annual planning activities by providing squad-level input and visibility.\nStakeholder Management\nCollaborate with Infrastructure leadership to understand priorities, constraints, and expected outcomes.\nPartner with technical teams to convert business needs into practical technical solutions.\nCommunicate progress, risks, tradeoffs, and delivery updates to stakeholders.\nFacilitate prioritization discussions by balancing business objectives, impact, technical risk, operational stability, regulatory requirements, and engineering capacity.\nBuild alignment between delivery teams, operational teams, product stakeholders, and Infrastructure leadership.\nOperational Excellence\nUse operational data and metrics to support prioritization and decision-making.\nSupport initiatives focused on reliability, availability, performance, cloud cost management, security, compliance, automation, and platform modernization.\nHelp improve visibility into squad work, delivery progress, dependencies, and outcomes.\nIdentify opportunities to improve process efficiency, reduce operational friction, and strengthen delivery predictability.\nProduct Delivery\nEnsure initiatives are delivered with clear scope, expected outcomes, and acceptance criteria.\nMonitor delivery progress and help remove obstacles impacting execution.\nSupport release planning, change management, and stakeholder communication.\nValidate that delivered work meets the intended business, technical, and operational objectives.\nFacilitate strategic decision-making by presenting clear options, recommendations, and associated impacts. \nRequired Qualifications\n5+ years of Product Management, Technical Product Management, Technical Project Management, or related experience.\nExperience in SaaS or cloud-native environments.\nExperience working with Infrastructure, Cloud Operations, Platform Engineering, SRE, DevOps, Security, or DBA teams.\nStrong understanding of Agile and Scrum delivery practices.\nExperience managing backlogs and prioritizing work in Jira or similar tools.\nAbility to translate technical concepts into business value and actionable requirements.\nStrong stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.\nPreferred Qualifications\nFamiliarity with SQL, Oracle, AWS and/or Azure.\nUnderstanding of observability, monitoring, incident management, and infrastructure operations.\nExperience with ServiceNow, Jira, Confluence, Aha!, or similar tools.\nKnowledge of Cloud FinOps and infrastructure cost optimization.\nExperience supporting security, compliance, automation, and modernization initiatives.\nProgram Management Certifications Preferred (PMP, PgMP, Scrum, SAFe, or similar).\nFortive Corporation Overview\nFortive's essential technology makes the world safer and more productive.
