Our Approach.\nJob Description\nThe Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager reports to the Finance Director and manages the operating budget and forecast processes, delivering timely, accurate reporting and data-driven insights that help FORTNA leadership drive growth and decision making. Responsibilities includesupporting financial reporting activities, collecting and analyzing financial data, performing financial analysis on monthly andquarterly business performance, preparing month-end reports, and consolidating financial plans based on strategic initiatives. This is a great role for anFP&A professional excited to make a meaningful impact within a growing, dynamic company.\nKey Responsibilities:\nReporting & Analysis:\nPrepare accurate and timely materials for monthly and quarterly financial reports, presentations and dashboards that highlight key performance indicators (KPIs).\nPerformvariance and trend analysis to identify and explainkey performance drivers.\nOptimize and rationalize financial processes to drive consistent reporting practices.\nStrategic Analysis & Forecasting:\nCollaborate with business partners (e.g.,operations, sales, and strategy)to develop and maintain accurate financial forecasts, identify financial risks and opportunities, and ensure alignment with financial goals.\nLead the annual operating budget and periodic forecast processes, consolidating inputs from business partners into financial plans aligned with strategic initiatives.\nSupport key initiatives as assigned, includingad-hoc financial and business analysis that deliversvalue-added reporting for leadership.\nFinancial Modeling & Scenario Analysis:\nBuild and improve financial models, including sensitivity and scenario analysis to inform financial and business decision making.\nDevelop tools and processes that establish planning and analysisbest practices in support of our strategic goals.\nLeverage automation and technology tools to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness of deliverables.\nStakeholder Collaboration & Communication:\nPartner withBusiness Operationsto improve performance, providingfinancial insightsand data-driven strategies.\nPartner and collaborate with Accounting and Project Controls teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting during month-end close\nPartner and collaborate with Corporate Finance to ensure alignment on financial analysis and reporting.\n\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or related technical discipline\n5 - 10 years of progressive work experience in FP&A\nStrong financial modeling skills required\nGeneral ledger experience required\nBudgeting and forecasting experience required\nAbility to multi-task in a dynamic work environment\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nExcellent analytical skills with ability to analyze, interpret, and summarize data\nStrong work ethic and ability to develop relationships across the organization\nDetail-oriented, with aprofessional demeanor and strong organizationalskills\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nProficiency in Microsoft Office products\nProficiency with ERP & BI Platforms\nExperience in finance forproject-based businesses and discrete goods manufacturing\nExperience with financial software such as Planful, Workday Adaptive Planning,Workday Financials,or similar tools\nThe base salary range for this role is $115,900 to $173,800. This base salary range represents the low and high end of the base salary range for this position. Actual base salary offered will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, level, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and performance.\nThis job description describes the general nature and level of work expected of a person assigned to this position.
