This includes driving strategy, working with the executive leadership team, overseeing successful execution, building a team, team development and management, operations, and key initiatives.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nCollaborating with Finance Leaders and team to establish a global procurement strategy, processes, and procedures\nPartnering with finance to achieve short- and long-term goals for streamlining and rationalizing vendor base\nWorking with acquired teams to integrate their procurement strategy, processes, and procedures\nAssisting with establishing vendor management playbook - overseeing successful execution of the playbook\nCollaborating cross functionally with Legal and Security teams to ensure strong controls and governance over vendor contract management\nEstablishing and maintaining strong vendor relationships\nSupporting the business with request for proposal process as needed\nManaging a procurement team responsible for:\nDetermining key vendors and ensuring universal/centralized management\nWorking closely with legal department to develop and execute a strategy to streamline vendor selection, contract evaluation, and negotiation process\nPartnering with finance team, M&A team and functional leaders to review post-acquisition expenses - mapping a plan for cost reductions and movement to standard vendors\nWorking with finance organization to align procurement strategy and process with purchasing and budget control procedures (e.g., spending authorities, approval processes and limits, PO requirements, etc.)\nRecommending, selecting, and implementing tools to improve operational efficiency (such as a vendor management system) \nManaging new spend and upcoming contract end dates in a robust contract management cycle that is aligned with approved budgets\nDeveloping positive and productive relationships with suppliers while keeping healthy competition in our supply base\nReviewing and approving change management on purchase orders (i.e., increases/decreases)\nAssisting in reconciling complex invoices to purchase orders, to enable vendor payment\nAssisting in developing and training on procurement policies and procedures to ensure consistency throughout the organization\nPartnering within Finance to provide accurate and timely vendor and third-party spending data\nMonitoring supplier performance and communicating issues, as well as working with internal customers in various parts of the organization and external customers to ensure that contract needs are met, and issues are resolved.\nDrive system implementation and enterprise-wide adoption and optimization\nManaging team performance and productivity, coaching team members to be successful\nCollaborating with People Experience team to ensure career paths and development opportunities for all employees\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required. Professional credentials preferred such as RPA/FMA, CFM.\nStrong professional experience in Procurement, contract review and vendor management; ideally in a technology company.\nStrong understanding of financial reports, including variance of actual vs. budget numbers\n\nLOCATION\nMinneapolis, MN (Eden Prairie) Nice to have.
