This role combines market, customer, and technical leadership to define, build, and launch AI-powered software products. Primary responsibilities include AI market analysis, product strategy, product planning, responsible AI delivery, product release and launch.\n\nWHAT YOU'LL DO\nMarket Analysis\nAI Trend Analysis, monitoring advances in artificial intelligence, machine learning, generative AI, agentic workflows, and the evolving regulatory landscape to identify opportunities and risks\nDevelop hands-on, in-depth knowledge of AI products and maintain analysis of their capabilities, model approaches, data practices, strengths, and limitations\nProduct Strategy\nConduct market research, customer interviews, and usability studies to identify high-value AI use cases and unmet needs across target segments\nEvaluate data, model, platform, security, and partner capabilities to determine the most effective path to deliver an AI solution (build, buy, or partner)\nProduct Planning\nDefine priority user workflows and translate validated problems into clear product requirements, including AI behavior, data needs, quality expectations, and human-in-the-loop experiences\nDefine and manage AI product roadmaps, balancing customer value, technical feasibility, and responsible AI considerations\nEstablish success metrics and evaluation plans for AI experiences, including quality, adoption, reliability, safety, and business impact\nPartner with engineering, data science, design, security, and legal teams to drive AI product development to on-time, high-quality completion\nProduct Release & Launch\nLead and support customer pilots, beta testing, and launch readiness for AI-powered products and features. Document feedback, monitor quality and safety signals, and recommend improvements\nTrain Sales and Partners on AI product use cases, capabilities, limitations, and responsible-use guidance\nSubject Matter Expert\nProvide market, solution, and responsible AI guidance to support Marketing, Sales, Customer Success, and Technical Support content planning\nOther duties as assigned\n\nQUALIFICATIONS\nBachelor's Degree in a technical, business, or related field, or equivalent professional training or certificate\n5-10 years of product management, software development, data, or AI/ML product experience in an enterprise software company\nWorking knowledge of AI/ML and generative AI concepts, including model capabilities, limitations, evaluation, and data considerations\nStrong problem-solving skills along with excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain AI concepts clearly to technical and nontechnical audiences\nAbility to effectively and productively interface with customers and translate customer needs into actionable AI product requirements\nExperience leading cross-functional teams that include engineering, data science or machine learning, design, security, legal, product, sales, and marketing staff\nCompensatio n: 105,000 USD - 160,000.00 USD\nAt Fortra, we’re breaking the attack chain.
