This position supports production operations through safe work practices, quality workmanship, material handling, shipping and receiving activities, and maintaining an organized work environment.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities\nComply and participate in the company Health and Safety program.\nPrepare, assemble, and repair fabricated products, pressure vessels, piping systems, and related oilfield or process equipment.\nAssemble multiple components into complete skidded packages and fabricated assemblies according to engineering drawings and work instructions.\nInstall threaded and non-threaded piping, valves, fittings, and instrumentation components on skidded equipment and vessels.\nRead and interpret blueprints, bills of material (BOMs), assembly drawings, and work instructions.\nMeasure, cut, fit, align, and assemble components to ensure dimensional accuracy and quality standards are met.\nUtilize pipe wrenches, hand tools, pneumatic tools, and other production equipment safely and effectively.\nPerform equipment identification, stamping, tagging, and labeling in accordance with company and customer requirements.\nSupport shipping and receiving activities, including loading, unloading, inspection, packaging, and movement of materials and finished products.\nOperate forklifts and material handling equipment as required to support production and shipping operations.\nVerify materials and components are properly identified and maintained throughout the manufacturing process.\nMaintain compliance with company quality standards, procedures, and applicable industry requirements.\nAssist with testing, final inspections, packaging, and shipment preparation.\nMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work area through daily housekeeping activities.\nWork collaboratively with production, quality, engineering, and warehouse personnel to meet production goals and customer requirements.\nOther duties as assigned.\nSkills/Knowledge\nAbility to read, understand, and follow written and verbal instructions.\nAbility to read and interpret fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and basic blueprints.\nProficient in reading a tape measure and performing basic measurements and calculations.\nAbility to safely operate hand tools, pneumatic tools, overhead cranes, and other shop equipment.\nGood mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.\nAbility to prioritize tasks while maintaining quality and safety standards.\nStrong teamwork and communication skills.\nEducation\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nExperience\nMinimum 6 months of experience in manufacturing, assembly, fabrication, construction, oilfield equipment, or a related industrial environment preferred.\nExperience with mechanical assembly, piping installation, or fabrication processes preferred.\nForklift certification or experience preferred.\nThis is a safety-sensitive position.\nAbout FET\nFET (Forum Energy Technologies, Inc.) is a global company, serving the crude oil, natural gas, and renewable energy industries.
