They follow manufacturing drawings, procedures and order forms to complete their daily tasks. Performing quality checks and ensures applicable documentation is filled out accurately as needed. This position requires identifying and the use of tools and materials, as well as forklift and overhead crane use. Shifts may involve various shifts and overtime hours depending on the scope of work and plant activity.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities:\nExcellent understanding of manufacturing drawings, shop order forms as they relate to production.\nIdentify tools and materials as per work order.\nConfigure machinery to produce quality results as per procedures and quality requirements.\nPerform quality control checks to ensure the product follows work order requirements.\nClearly and legibly complete paperwork as necessary.\nRecord and calculate material usage.\nAble to read precision measuring equipment.\nUnload shipments, weigh and receive goods when required.\nEnsure tools and machinery are in good working order and maintained.\nRequired to undertake shop cleaning and regular preventative equipment maintenance.\nAdhere to all company policies and procedures including but not limited to HSE and quality.\nAlways maintain good housekeeping practices.\nParticipate in training and safety meetings as required.\nLift and carry materials weighing up to 45 lbs., lift items weighing more than 45 lbs. with assistance from other workers, forklift and/or overhead hoist.\nActive participation in FET’s Health, Safety and Environment program.\nOther duties as required.\nSkills/Knowledge\nDedicated to continuous improvement.\nOperator forklift and crane training.\nAble to meet deadlines while working in a safe manner.\nMechanically inclined, ability to use small hand tools and/or power tools.\nAttention to detail.\nWorks well in a team environment.\nStrong aptitude to understand drawings.\nGood verbal and written communication skills.\nAble to follow and understand both oral and written instructions in English.\nGrade 12 basic math skills.\nEducation\nGrade 12 or GED - additional education past high school would be an asset.\nExperience\nPrior Manufacturing experience in a similar environment preferred.\nForklift and/or overhead crane training or experience considered an asset.\nAbout FET\nFET (Forum Energy Technologies, Inc.) is a global company, serving the crude oil, natural gas, and renewable energy industries.
