Troubleshoots, diagnoses and makes necessary repairs. Assists in setting up and maintaining an ongoing preventive maintenance program for the facility. Maintains an organized, safe and clean work area. Active participation in FET’s Health, Safety and Environment program is required. Other duties and special projects as assigned.\nThis position is based on nightshift and may require periodic weekend work as well as overtime.\nJob Duties/Responsibilities:\nCarries tools and equipment to and from storage and working areas.\nAssist dismantling and moving machines or equipment.\nClean machines to prepare surfaces for repair.\nUtilizing precision measuring tools to align gears, shafts, and bearings.\nFabrication & Welding: Performing layout, welding, and machining work to fabricate parts.\nKeep detailed notes and job information in a CMMS.\nOil and grease various machinery to include maintaining and checking oil levels in forklifts.\nClean work areas, tools and equipment.\nRepairing LP gas accessories and related PM tasks.\nHVAC / CHILLER PM tasks.\nDiagnostics of PLC / CNC / circuitry.\nRequired to adhere to the Company’s ISO Quality program.\nCarry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.\nCheck electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality.\nActively maintain maintenance logs and report on daily activities.\nProvide accurate paperwork and work orders.\nWork according to company mandates for communication, meetings and projects.\nResponsible for effective record keeping, filing and other administrative duties as required.\nLift and carry materials weighing up to 45lbs, and lift over 45lbs with the help of other workers, forklift, and/or overhead crane.\nEnsuring all work areas are clean and organized.\nMay perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.\nSkills/Knowledge\nCapable of reading and interpreting written and verbal instructions.\nGood communication skills. \nAble to work independently and as a team member. \nMust be able to work under pressure and within time constraints.\nBasic computer skills preferred.\nEducation\nRegistered apprentice preferred or equivalent experience.\nExperience\n2+ years of previous experience in maintaining manufacturing equipment.\nExperience performing mechanical repairs for different varieties of machines.\nPrior experience and/or certification with overhead cranes and rigging. \nAbout FET\nFET (Forum Energy Technologies, Inc.) is a global company, serving the crude oil, natural gas, and renewable energy industries.
