We provide this support free to doctors and patients, helping them get life-changing medicine faster, cheaper, and easier. The resulting network enables biopharma companies to design better research, launch new drugs more effectively, and invest in harder-to-treat conditions.\nForus has exceptional product-market fit and is growing rapidly through organic adoption:\nAccelerating scale: We already support patients across more than 85% of ZIP codes and partner with 9 of top 15 largest biopharma companies in the world.\n\nAI-native, durable model: Our business becomes stronger as AI improves, as every new doctor, patient, and partner makes the network more valuable.\n\nBacking to build for the long term: We raised $300M+ from leading investors to build an exceptional team and unlock the full scale of the opportunity.\n\nOur number one priority is scaling to market demand. We are looking for individuals who are high horsepower, high throughput, and hyper resourceful to help us increase capacity and grow. We move fast and need to move faster.\nIf we succeed, science will be the only limit to medicine.\nAll full-time roles are in person in New York.\nAbout the role\nAs our Events Manager, you will own the strategy and execution of the field marketing program at the center of how we grow our provider network and engage influential leaders in the industry. Forus gives physicians the ability to prescribe the treatments their patients actually need. Getting that message in front of the right audiences, at the right moments, requires an events program that is as commercially sharp as it is flawlessly executed.\nYou will lead a portfolio spanning industry conferences, tradeshows, owned experiences, and virtual programs, and you’ll decide how we show up and define success through budgeting, vendor management, audience strategy, onsite delivery, and performance reporting. You will partner closely with sales, marketing, and clinical teams to turn events into a predictable, measurable growth channel.\nThis is a demanding role with a high level of autonomy, visibility, and responsibility. You will be expected to “act like an owner,” exercise sound judgment, and commit yourself to Forus’ success. If you are low-ego, commercially minded, and excited about intense, impactful work that drives both company growth and accelerated career progression, we want to hear from you.\nIf you join, you will:\nOwn execution of our presence at industry tradeshows and conferences - booth configuration, collateral, shipping, and lead capture across all active events\n\nBuild and maintain run-of-show documents, timelines, and checklists that keep every stakeholder aligned\n\nBe on the ground at key events to keep execution on track and solve problems in real time\n\nCoordinate internal attendee logistics - travel, staffing, and materials - across sales, marketing, and clinical teams\n\nTranslate the Forus brand into memorable, high-quality experiences through thoughtful messaging, collateral, booth design, programming, and activations\n\nOwn event budgets, forecasts, contracts, and vendor relationships; negotiate scopes and make tradeoffs that raise quality while improving efficiency\n\nBuild scalable playbooks, planning systems, and a trusted vendor network while serving as the on-the-ground lead who keeps complex programs moving and solves problems in real time\n\nWe’ll be most excited if you have:\n3+ years of experience in events, conference logistics, hospitality, or operations\n\nA track record of leading a portfolio of conferences, tradeshows, and owned experiences end to end, and not just supporting individual logistics\n\nStrong cross-functional communication skills - comfortable coordinating vendors, internal teams, and conference organizers\n\nA startup mentality: resourceful, adaptable, and comfortable in an environment where priorities shift\n\nTrack record of moving quickly, finding shortcuts, and going to unreasonable lengths to deliver on goals\n\nHigh NPS with your former teammates\n\nThis is a list of ideal qualifications for this position. If you don't meet every single one of them, you should still consider applying! We’re excited to work with people from underrepresented backgrounds, and we encourage people from all backgrounds to apply.\nWorking with us\nForus is based in New York, with our full team working out of a beautiful and spacious office in SoHo. \nWe run as a high-trust environment with high autonomy, which requires that everyone is fully competent and operates in line with our principles:\nDo the math. Be rigorous, assume nothing. Break problems down and reason from the ground up. Stay open to changing your mind.\n\nResourceful optimism. Assume problems are solvable. Be audacious. Resist false constraints and push beyond the obvious before deciding.\n\nSpit it out. Speak directly, invite critique, avoid equivocation. We want right answers, not comfortable ones. All killer, no filler.\n\nRaise the bar. Hold a high standard for your pace and execution, and elevate the performance of the team around you. Mamba mentality.\n\nFight for users. Start with users’ realities, not ours. Resist optimizing for internal convenience over user outcomes.\n\nWe provide competitive compensation with meaningful equity (for full-time employees). Everyone who joins will be a major contributor to our success, and we reflect this through ownership and pay.\nWe also provide rich benefits to ensure you can focus on creating impact (for full-time employees) :\nFully covered medical, vision, and dental insurance.\n\nMemberships for One Medical, Talkspace, Teladoc, and Kindbody.\n\nUnlimited paid time off (PTO) and 16 weeks of parental leave.\n\n401K plan setup, FSA option, commuter benefits, and DashPass.\n\nLunch at the office every day and Dinner at the office after 6:30 pm.\n\nOur salary ranges are based on paying competitively for our company’s size and industry, and are one part of the total compensation package that also includes equity, benefits, and other opportunities at Forus (for full-time employees). Individual pay decisions are ultimately based on a number of factors, including qualifications for the role, experience level, skillset, geography, and balancing internal equity. \nForus is an equal opportunity employer and does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity/expression, national origin, disability, age, genetic information, veteran status, marital status, pregnancy or related condition, or any other basis protected by law.","description_format":"text","description_chars":6842,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":3,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":["401k plan","Dental insurance","Equity","Insurance coverage","Parental leave"],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Biotechnology"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-10-15T02:06:42Z"}],"visa":[{"country":"US","licensed_sponsor":true,"evidence":"H-1B filings in 12 months: 2","filings_12m":2,"filings_prev_12m":0,"green_card_filings_12m":0,"median_offered_wage_usd":147500,"route":null,"cap_exempt":false,"checked_at":"2026-10-15T11:24:14+00:00","sources":["US Department of Labor: LCA disclosure data (H-1B, H-1B1, E-3)"],"filings_for_role_12m":0}],"liveness":{"score":6,"band":"cold","label":"Long shot","p_open":1,"p_active":0.215,"p_room":0.28,"age_days":125,"expected_fill_days":29,"reasons":["conf:3","stale_co","ghost","win:tail","crowd:"],"computed_at":"2026-10-15T05:46:00Z"},"pay":{"stated_usd_annual":130000,"is_top_pay":true},"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/forus-events-manager","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/forus-events-manager.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-15T20:17:39Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","about":"Alion is a live layer of people, companies and AI agents: who they are, whether they are real and active right now, what they do and how to work with them, readable by people and by agents and paid per call.","catalog":"https://alion.io/catalog.json","usage":{"tier":"crawler_verified","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":30826,"day_limit":null,"remaining_today":null,"minute_limit":300,"resets_at":"2026-10-16T00:00:00Z"}},"offers":[{"id":"company.slices","title":"One company in depth, by slice","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002,"plus_per_slice":{"credits":0.05,"usd":0.005}},"unit":"per company, plus each slice with data","note":"the employer in depth","call":{"mcp_tool":"get_company","arguments":{"id":2105211},"rest":"https://alion.io/mcp/rest/get_company?id=2105211"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.slices&for=job%2Fforus-events-manager"},{"id":"market.stats","title":"A market slice: pay, demand and time to fill","status":"live","price":{"credits":1,"usd":0.1},"unit":"per slice","note":"pay, demand and time to fill for this role and place","call":{"mcp_tool":"market_stats"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=market.stats&for=job%2Fforus-events-manager"},{"id":"job.search","title":"Open jobs by role, technology, place, pay and visa","status":"live","price":{"credits":0.02,"usd":0.002},"unit":"per posting in a list","note":"similar open postings","call":{"mcp_tool":"search_jobs"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=job.search&for=job%2Fforus-events-manager"},{"id":"company.verify","title":"Is this company real and active right now","status":"pilot","price":null,"unit":"per company","request":{"url":"https://alion.io/catalog/request","method":"POST","body":"{\"offer\": \"company.verify\", \"for\": \"job/forus-events-manager\", \"note\": \"what you need it for\"}"},"human":"https://alion.io/catalog?offer=company.verify&for=job%2Fforus-events-manager"}]}
