Our Accounting Technology team supports clients throughout their entire technology journey, from finance system reviews and software selection through to implementation, optimisation and ongoing outsourced finance support. We work across a range of leading cloud accounting and ERP platforms, including iplicit, Sage Intacct and NetSuite, helping clients select and implement the solution that best meets their needs. Due to continued growth in our Accounting Technology offering, we are looking for an experienced Accounting Technology Consultant to join our team.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the continued growth of our Accounting Technology capability.

Working closely with clients across a range of sectors, you will support organisations in reviewing their finance systems and processes, selecting the right technology solutions and delivering successful implementations. You will combine your finance and technology expertise to help clients improve operational efficiency, strengthen reporting capabilities and build scalable finance functions.

You will be responsible for leading and supporting accounting technology projects, managing multiple client engagements and acting as a trusted adviser throughout the client lifecycle. You will work collaboratively with colleagues across our Accounting, Advisory and Business Process Outsourcing teams to deliver integrated solutions that provide long-term value to our clients.

As part of the role, you will:

· Facilitate client workshops to understand business requirements and finance processes

· Support clients through finance system specification and selection

· Lead and support accounting system implementations, including configuration, testing, training and go-live activities

· Project manage multiple engagements, ensuring delivery to agreed timelines and budgets

· Coordinate data migration activities and support user acceptance testing

· Identify opportunities to improve finance processes and system utilisation

· Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels

· Contribute to the development of our Accounting Technology methodologies, solutions and best practices

What we are looking for

We are looking for a motivated and client-focused individual who is passionate about helping organisations leverage technology to improve their finance functions.

You will ideally have:

ACA, ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification

· At least 3 years' experience in accounting technology, finance transformation or ERP implementation

· Proven experience delivering accounting software implementations, ideally including iplicit and/or Sage Intacct

· Strong understanding of finance processes, controls and reporting requirements

· Experience facilitating workshops and gathering business requirements

· Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills

· Strong project management and organisational abilities

· A collaborative approach and a commitment to delivering high-quality client service
