They are a key point of coordination between customers, carriers, customs brokers, overseas partners, and internal teams to ensure freight moves efficiently and compliantly from origin through final delivery. They assist with shipment execution, documentation processing, customs coordination, shipment tracking, and system updates while maintaining accurate records and providing exceptional customer service. They help ensure transportation milestones are achieved and potential issues are identified and escalated promptly. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate domestic and international import and export freight shipments across air, ocean, and ground transportation modes.\nSupport the shipment lifecycle from freight initiation through customs clearance and final delivery.\nCreate and maintain shipment records in CargoWise and other transportation management systems, including data entry, milestone tracking, documentation management, and file maintenance.\nSchedule pickups and deliveries and coordinate transportation activities with carriers, warehouses, customs brokers, overseas agents, and internal teams.\nPrepare, review, and process shipping documentation including air waybills, bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, export declarations, and related import/export documents.\nMonitor shipment status and proactively track transportation milestones to help ensure timely pickup, transit, customs clearance, and delivery.\nCommunicate shipment updates, transportation status, and service-related information to customers and internal stakeholders.\nAssist with customs clearance activities by coordinating documentation and working with customs brokers and government agencies as needed.\nEnsure compliance with customer SOPs, internal operational procedures, and applicable transportation and trade regulations.\nIdentify shipment exceptions, delays, and documentation discrepancies and escalate issues appropriately while supporting resolution efforts.\nAssist with freight quotations, transportation options, and carrier coordination to support customer requirements.\nEnter shipment costs, support billing activities, and maintain accurate operational and financial records.\nMaintain complete, accurate, and timely shipment documentation and records.\nProvide professional customer service while building positive relationships with customers, carriers, and business partners.\nAll other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.\nQualifications\nEducation: High school diploma or GED equivalent required; associate degree or additional coursework in logistics, supply chain, transportation, international business, or a related field preferred.\nLanguage: Bilingual fluency, both written and spoken, in English and Spanish required;
