They are a key liaison between customers, carriers, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure freight moves efficiently, compliantly, and cost effectively from origin to destination. They are highly organized, detail oriented, and capable of managing multiple shipments and priorities in a fast-paced logistics environment. They play a critical role in delivering exceptional service while supporting operational excellence and customer satisfaction.\nResponsibilities\nCoordinate domestic and international freight shipments across air transportation modes.\n\nManage the end-to-end forwarding process from shipment initiation through final delivery.\n\nOwn the complete shipment process in CargoWise, including data entry, pickup and delivery scheduling, AES entry, airline bookings, routing, operational milestone updates, and costing.\n\nEnsure all customers' SOP instructions are adhered to, and internal/company KPIs and guidelines are andmet.\n\nPrepare, review, and process shipping documentation including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and other transportation documents.\n\nCommunicate proactively with customers, carriers, customs brokers, steamship lines, airlines, trucking providers, and internal teams regarding shipment status and requirements.\n\nTrack and monitor freight movements to ensure timely pickup, transit, customs clearance, and delivery.\n\nSupport import and export compliance by maintaining accurate shipment records and ensuring adherence to applicable regulations and trade requirements.\n\nCoordinate customs clearance activities and work closely with customs brokers and government agencies as needed.\n\nIdentify and resolve transportation delays, documentation discrepancies, customs holds, and other shipment-related issues.\n\nProvide customers with shipment updates, quotes, service options, and solutions to support their logistics needs.\n\nMaintain accurate data and shipmentinformation within transportation management and operational systems.\n\nAssist with carrier selection, routing decisions, and cost-effective transportation solutions.\n\nSupport continuous improvement efforts related to service levels, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.\n\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and successful shipment execution.\n\nAll other duties as assigned to meet evolving business needs.\n\nQualifications\nEducation: High school diploma or equivalent required;
