Capital, Andreessen Horowitz, Goldman Sachs, MSD Partners, Omega Venture Partners, Section 32, and Threshold Ventures, and headquartered in Santa Clara, we're most proud of our team: curious people who'd rather build what doesn't exist than accept how things have always been done.\nForward is looking for a Senior Accountant\nResponsibilities:\n\nPrepare day-to-day transactions (i.e., Ar/AP, prepaid, fixed assets, etc.),\nPrepare monthly balance sheet reconciliations, as well as detailed income statement analysis.\nAssist in preparing financial reports, account reconciliations, audit preparations.\nManage and take responsibly for transactional accounting processes, such as Procure-to-Pay\nand Order-to-Cash.\nHave a hand in developing accounting policies and procedures.\nAd hoc projects to support the development of the Company as needed.\nRequirements:\nRequires strong GAAP knowledge; revenue recognition for SaaS companies (ASC 606).\nBe comfortable working in a fast-growth startup and being a self-starter.\nThe ability to critically think and make corresponding conclusions, including the ability to detect\n patterns and interpret incomplete data.\nThe ability to work in a diverse work environment and be nimble with shifting priorities.\nBachelor's degree in Accounting\n3+ years of relevant experience, mix of public accounting and private industry experience\n strongly preferred.\nExceptional attention to detail, including self-review, and detailed project management skills.\nBe proficient with Netsuite, Microsoft and Google Suite, Ramp, Floqast, etc.\nAn active CPA or pursuing license.\nPrior experience at a start-up\nThis is a hybrid role requiring two days per week onsite at our Santa Clara office.\n\n The base pay range for this role is between $110,000 and $130,000.
