As we scale across the Nordic and Luxembourg entities, we need a Junior Accountant who can keep everyday accounting moving smoothly: supplier invoices, payments, customer invoicing, intercompany reconciliation and routine bookkeeping.\nThis is a well-timed role. The Oracle NetSuite implementation gives us the chance to set up clean, scalable workflows from day one, while the finance function grows with the business. You will help make sure our daily accounting runs accurately, efficiently and ready for growth. You will own the daily transactional accounting rhythm across several entities, keep the sub ledgers accurate and complete, and help create a reliable foundation for monthly close, VAT and audit work.\nWhat you'll do\nProcess incoming supplier invoices: registration, coding, approval routing and payment preparation.\n\nPrepare and issue outgoing customer invoices, monitor receivables and run payment follow-up.\n\nPerform intercompany reconciliation across the Nordic and Luxembourg entities and clear differences.\n\nMaintain day-to-day bookkeeping: bank reconciliation, employee expense claims and credit card postings.\n\nMaintain supplier and customer master data, including payment and bank details.\n\nSupport monthly close with recurring journal entries, accrual schedules and supporting documentation.\n\nPrepare underlying documentation for VAT filings and for audit and advisor requests.\n\nWork to the accounting procedures set by the Accounting Manager and escalate exceptions and disputes.\n\nSupport the Oracle NetSuite implementation: testing of accounts payable and receivable workflows, migration of open items and data entry in the new system.\n\nAbout you\nDegree or vocational qualification in accounting, finance or economics.\n\nOne to three years in accounts payable, accounts receivable or general bookkeeping, where relevant internships count.\n\nSolid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping and of the invoice-to-payment and invoice-to-cash cycles.\n\nAccuracy and attention to detail at high transaction volumes, and comfortable working in Excel.\n\nProfessional English, written and spoken.\n\nBased in Barcelona.\n\nReliable and consistent, meeting recurring deadlines without being chased, and taking ownership of getting both the number and the documentation right.\n\nWilling to learn and to be trained on new procedures and systems, asking when unsure rather than guessing and flagging problems early.\n\nService-minded towards internal budget holders and external counterparts.\n\nValuable, but not required: experience with Oracle NetSuite, exposure to a multi-entity, multi-currency environment, experience with intercompany reconciliation, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish or Spanish language skills, exposure to VAT handling in more than one jurisdiction.\n\nWhat success looks like\nWithin the 6 months, transactional accounting for the Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and Luxembourg entities runs at the right level. Supplier invoices are registered, coded and prepared for payment on time, customer invoices go out on schedule with active follow-up on receivables, and intercompany balances reconcile without a backlog carried into close.
