Ideal candidates will be located in theNortheast or Southeast United States; or Bay Area California and are open to 25% travel.\nPrimary Responsibilities\nDrive Business Development: Leverage your existing relationships to identify and cultivate new business opportunities that align with Foth’s market approach. Actively pursue and close sales deals to ensure a steady pipeline of projects.\nLead Proposals and Presentations: Develop and deliver compelling proposals and presentations, showcasing your ability to understand client needs and market dynamics.\nFoster Long-Term Relationships: Build and maintain long-term client relationships, ensuring satisfaction with our services and fostering loyalty.\nStrategic Selling: Develop and implement strategies to address client risks, execution concerns, and stakeholder issues, positioning Foth as a trusted partner.\nEnsure Project Success: Collaborate with Foth project managers and clients to ensure successful project outcomes from initiation to completion.\nStay Informed: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of existing and proposed regulations related to public and private/industrial waterfront facilities, ensuring compliance and strategic advantage.\nStrategic Planning: Participate in strategic planning, development, deployment, and growth initiatives to align with Foth’s market strategy.\nTechnical Leadership: Provide technical knowledge and project management expertise, supporting turn-key or design-build value propositions.\nMentor and Coach: Guide and mentor team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Geology, or similar technical discipline\n10+ years of experience in engineering consulting services in either the public or private sector\nPrevious marine, waterfront, coastal, dredging and/or resiliency project experience\nPreferred Qualifications\n15+ years of experience in engineering consulting services in either the public or private sector\nDemonstrated success in business development in the port & harbor infrastructure and dredging market\nA proven track record developing, retaining and maintaining clients\nProven technical leadership or project management on complex, multi-disciplined projects including preparation of design calculations, site plans, construction drawings and specifications, and other technical work products\nPrevious experience developing design/build project opportunities\nWhat types of exciting challenges is Foth involved in?\nBay Area Park Improvements - FOTH\nEndicott College Seawall Replacement - FOTH\nAgricultural Maritime Export Facility - FOTH\n Confined Aquatic Disposal (CAD) Cell and Terminal Extension - FOTH\nOak Bluffs Seawall Restoration - FOTH\nWETA Vallejo Baylink Ferry Terminal Dredging and Float Restoration - FOTH\nShoreline Park Pier Restoration - FOTH\n S.S.
