If you are passionate about engineering excellence and thrive in a collaborative environment, we invite you to consider Foth!\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nLead and support the mechanical design effort on converting and packaging line projects. \nExecute capital projects within scopes, costs, and schedules.\nDevelop concepts, deliverables, effort hours, and estimated cost for engineering proposals.\nPrepare systems analysis and conceptual designs, layouts, specify equipment, and prepare detailed design packages for bid and installation on converting and packaging projects.\nDelegate design work and hold team members accountable.\nPerform QAQC of design packages.\nInterface with clients and vendors on regular basis.\nWork as part of a collaborative project team.\nWork in a manufacturing environment gathering field data and conducting field investigations, when required for project work.\nSolicit and review equipment bids.\nLead design reviews, internally and with client.\nProvide startup support and troubleshooting on installed systems.\nTravel to other Foth offices or client locations will be regularly required (anticipate 25-35% annually).\nCoach and mentor other engineers and designers is expected.\nRequired Qualifications:\nBS Mechanical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent technical experience.\n10+ years of industry-relevant experience in engineering of consumer products.\nPreferred Qualifications:\n15+ years of experience with integration systems and systems engineering in consumer towel and tissue products and/or paper converting/packaging systems, to include experience developing system concepts, executing final system designs, and developing written line operations strategies.\nConveyor application experience \nKnowledge of Web Handling (unwind, rewind, cutting, printing) -
