This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer to serve as a subject matter expert in plumbing within manufacturing environments, help build and strengthen this specialty within Foth, and continue applying broad technical expertise across industrial HVAC and utility systems. Approximately 25% of the role will focus on plumbing-related work.\nPrimary Responsibilities:\nServe as a technical resource for plumbing, HVAC, and utility systems\nHelp build and strengthen our plumbing specialty through technical expertise, knowledge sharing, and mentorship\nCoach and mentor junior engineers and designers\nDevelop equipment specifications\nWork with clients, vendors, and suppliers to develop cost estimates and support proposals\nDevelop mass and energy balances\nDevelop process and instrumentation drawings (P&IDs)\nDevelop equipment lists, line lists, and POC lists\nDevelop operation specifications\nWork with designers to create drawings\nWrite installation scope documents\nSupport on-site construction, installation, checkout, and start-up activities\nPerform on-site surveys to determine existing conditions\nTravel as needed, approximately 25% annually\nRequired Qualifications:\nBachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related field.\nProfessional Engineer (PE) license\n10+ years of experience with industrial HVAC, plumbing, piping, and utility systems\nExperience with plumbing systems within manufacturing environments\nRequired Previous Experience:\nEngineered package development including scope of work, P&IDs, and mechanical equipment arrangements\nProcess, plumbing, and utility system piping and ductwork design\nDetermining code compliance for new and existing plumbing systems\nPreferred Qualifications:\nExperience working in consumer products manufacturing environments and supporting capital projects\nExperience with industrial utility systems including steam, chilled water, hot water, compressed air, CO2, refrigeration, hydraulics, and related utility systems\nDeveloping equipment specifications\nExperience coaching or mentoring junior
