SUMMARY: Westmead – we are on the lookout for a candidate to keep our production lines running seamlessly with your keen eye for detail and strong administrative skills! POSITION INFO: An established and growing furniture manufacturing business producing upholstered furniture for retail and contract customers. A hands-on permanent position responsible for sourcing, ordering, and tracking raw materials and consumables to ensure production lines remain fully supplied on time. Key responsibilities Raise purchase orders for raw materials and consumables based on production plans, bills of materials, and stock levels. Follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and track open purchase orders. Inform the production team immediately of any potential material shortages or delivery delays. Check physical deliveries against purchase orders and invoices alongside the stores team, resolving short, damaged, or incorrect deliveries. Monitor stock levels and reorder points for all required materials. Capture and maintain accurate purchasing records on the ERP/stock system and in Excel. Process supplier invoices for approval and assist with month-end stock counts and reconciliations
