Join a dynamic manufacturing enterprise and take charge of expanding their presence across the Western Cape.\nDuties & Responsibilities\nOur client is a well-established South African manufacturer delivering top-tier coatings, specialized finishes, and surface preparation products to commercial and retail markets.\n\nWe are looking for a proactive, motivated External Sales Representative (Junior) to champion sales operations across the Western Cape. Based in the field and working closely with the Sales Manager, you will service established client accounts and aggressively pursue new client leads across paint shops, hardware stockists, panel shops, and trade applicators.\n\nKey responsibilities\n\nPerform regular on-site visits to existing retail, panel shop, and commercial client bases across the Western Cape.\n\nExecute strategic cold-calling and field prospecting to secure new business accounts and expand territory market share.\n\nEstablish and manage a solid client pipeline, maintaining accurate activity records via CRM software (Skynamo).\n\nPlan, organize, and execute optimized daily call schedules and field routes.\n\nIdentify expansion opportunities within decorative, architectural, industrial, and specialized coating product lines.\n\nMaintain regular reporting and line management communication regarding territory performance and client feedback.\n\nRequirements\n\nMatric\n\nValid South African driver’s license and a fully reliable, roadworthy personal vehicle (non-negotiable)\n\nDemonstrated ability to prospect, negotiate, and close new business (\"hunter\" sales approach).\n\nPrior sales exposure within coatings, paint manufacturing, hardware, or construction supplies is highly advantageous.\n\nComputer literate with familiarity in CRM systems (e.g., Skynamo).\n\nMultilingual skills are preferred.\n\nAttributes\n\nStrong self-discipline and ability to work autonomously in a field sales environment.\n\nNatural communicator with strong relationship-building skills.\n\nGoal-oriented attitude with a focus on hitting regional targets.\n\nAdaptable, enthusiastic, and customer-focused.\n\nRemuneration\n\nMarket-related gross package of R20,000 -
