About the role:The Laboratory Technician (LT) provides a professional service in performing phlebotomy and electrocardiogram. In addition the LT performs other laboratory technical and non-technical functions under supervision.
What you’ll bring:
- Certificate from OSMT
- Graduate of Laboratory Technician training program
- Minimum of 1 year or equivalent experience
- Experience in performing phlebotomy and ECG’s
- Previous hospital experience an asset
- Demonstrated excellence in communication, both written and verbal
- Demonstrated problem assessment skills
- Demonstrated commitment to customer service and teamwork
- Demonstrated individual leadership skills
