Join us as we continue this important work to uphold the value of community colleges in building a brighter future.\nWhat You’ll Do\nFoundationCCC supports the California Community College system by reducing barriers to opportunity, strengthening communities, and accelerating pathways to economic and social mobility for students and Californians. The Business Systems team supports the Foundation’s strategic goals by implementing, optimizing, and maturing the systems and digital tools used across the organization.\nThe Workday Analyst, Finance supports the Foundation’s financial systems, primarily Workday Financials and Workday Adaptive Planning. Working alongside the Senior Workday Analyst, Finance, this position is the first technical line for Finance system issues, keeps the platforms accurate and well maintained, and helps Finance colleagues get the most from the tools they use every day. Although based in financial technology, the role’s work reaches back-office and program partners across the Foundation, so it takes a consultative, service-first approach.\nFinance Systems SupportServes as the first technical line for Finance Workday and Adaptive Planning tickets received through the Foundation’s service management intake\nSupports Finance staff through training, process documentation, and user guides.\n\nPlatform Maintenance and Data IntegrityAudits and maintains Workday worktag values, data mapping. \nSupports Adaptive Planning as a platform and data integrity. \n\nTesting and ImprovementSupports testing for Workday’s semiannual releases and for configuration changes.\nConducts discovery sessions and works with external consultants\n\nAttributes for Success\nKnowledge of Workday Financials, including the Foundation Data Model, security, custom reporting, and financial modules (Spend, Customer Accounts, Financial Accounting, Projects).\nUnderstanding finance operations, financial data management and reporting, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).\nExperience with Workday Adaptive Planning or a comparable planning platform preferred.\nComfortable working with large data sets in Excel and executing EIB loads accurately.\nComfortable using AI tools to accelerate analysis, documentation, and data work, with sound judgment about responsible use around sensitive financial data.\nOur work holds great weight and responsibility, and the opportunity to impact the lives of millions of individuals in California\nInnovation, creativity, collaboration, and entrepreneurship are encouraged as employees work to achieve organizational goals \nFoundationCCC blends the impact of a non-profit, the culture of an entrepreneurial start-up, and the scale of a state agency\nWhat we Offer\nFoundationCCC is fully committed to a “remote-first” philosophy, and recruits and hires talent across the state in fully remote positions, where virtual work is possible.
