Foundation Risk Partners, one of the fastest growing insurance brokerage and consulting firms in the US, is adding a Client Service Advisor to their Independent Registered Investment Team at Advus Financial Partnersin their Winter Park, FL office.
Job Summary:
The Client Service Advisor (CSA) is responsible for delivering comprehensive financial planning, investment advice, and ongoing relationship management to an assigned book of clients. The CSA serves as the primary advisor for client relationships, providing personalized guidance, portfolio recommendations, retirement planning, tax-efficient wealth management strategies, and financial planning solutions.
Unlike traditional advisor roles, this position does not require the advisor to prospect for new business or maintain personal production quotas. Instead, the advisor's primary focus is delivering exceptional advice and service to existing clients. Advisors who wish to pursue business development opportunities may do so and may receive additional compensation for assets and clients they originate.
This role provides a career path for technically proficient professionals who possess strong planning and advisory skills and are passionate about serving clients, regardless of their sales experience.
Essential Functions:
Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the advisor for an assigned book of client relationships.
- Develop deep knowledge of client goals, financial circumstances, family dynamics, and risk tolerances.
- Conduct regular client review meetings and ongoing communications.
- Ensure clients receive a consistently high level of service and proactive advice.
- Coordinate with other specialists, including tax professionals, attorneys, insurance consultants, and retirement plan professionals, as appropriate.
Financial Planning
- Develop and maintain comprehensive financial plans.
- Provide advice related to:
- Retirement planning
- Cash flow planning
- Estate planning strategies
- Tax-efficient investment strategies
- Education funding
- Insurance planning
- Business succession planning
- Executive compensation planning
- Monitor client progress and recommend adjustments as circumstances change.
Investment Advisory
- Communicate portfolio strategy and investment recommendations to clients.
- Implement and monitor portfolio allocations in accordance with the firm's investment philosophy.
- Conduct portfolio reviews and rebalancing discussions.
- Explain market developments and investment performance to clients.
- Ensure investment recommendations remain suitable and aligned with client objectives.
Client Retention and Growth
- Foster long-term client relationships that enhance retention.
- Identify opportunities to deepen existing relationships through additional planning and advisory services.
- Collaborate with firm leadership on client transition and succession initiatives.
- Participate in client referrals and business development opportunities when appropriate.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business, or related field.
- 3-10+ years of wealth management, financial planning, or investment advisory experience.
- Series 65 registration (or ability to obtain promptly).

Preferred Qualifications:
- CFP® designation.
