Duties will include, but are not limited to:\nThe preparation and review of corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns with a strong focus on individual tax for founders and high net worth individuals\nManaging, developing, and mentoring members of the tax team\nIdentifying and developing solutions for complex tax issues\nAnswering client inquiries and working with management to triage and problem solve tax issues or questions\nDeveloping process improvements in company tax procedures\nProducing quarterly/yearly tax projections\nEngaging in strategic tax planning\nAd hoc tax projects\nIn addition, the company is willing to offer a partnership track for the right candidate. An existing book of business is earmarked for transition to a candidate who strives to own his or her own book of clients. The right candidate will also have an incentive structure that can be allocated to partner buy-in for new business generated and managed as well as referral business from existing partners. More details on the mechanics of the partner admission track can be shared upon request.\nWho You Are\nThe ideal candidate exhibits the following skills and/or characteristics:\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or similar field\nCertified Public Accountant (CPA) license or Enrolled Agent (EA) is required\nFamiliarity with ProConnect, CCH ProSystem fx is a plus\nProven experience as a tax manager, public accountant, or similar role\nExperience with or interest in crypto taxation is a bonus\nKeen attention to detail and organizational skills\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\nNatural curiosity and a strong desire to learn new skills\nAbility to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently\nComfort working in a fast-paced environment\nGathers and analyzes information skillfully\nProfessionalism and commitment to exceptional communication and client service\nExperience with Quickbooks Online, Sage Intacct, Xero, Bill.com, Expensify, Gusto, HubDoc, and other accounting applications is a plus\nPerks\nA perk we like to highlight is work life balance.
