Our innovative CX solutions, technology and expertiseare designed to support operational needs for our clients and deliver a seamlessexperience to customers inthe moments that matter.\nJob Summary\nThe Global Tech/IT Tower Lead is responsible for leading the global category management strategy across the organization's Technology/IT spend portfolio, including software, infrastructure, hardware, cloud, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and IT services.\nThis role serves as the strategic procurement partner to Technology and business leadership, and is accountable for category strategy development, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, supplier relationship management, and delivery of savings and broader procurement value objectives across the assigned portfolio.\nThe Tower Lead manages a globally distributed team and partners closely with executive and cross-functional teams to support enterprise priorities, procurement transformation initiatives, and operational scalability within a complex global environment. This role serves as a member of the Global Procurement Leadership team and contributes to broader procurement strategy, operating model evolution, and capability development initiatives.\nDuties and Responsibilities\nStrategic Category Leadership\nDevelop and execute category management strategies across the Technology/IT spend portfolio (7-10 subcategories across approximately $200-250M including multi-year roadmaps aligned to business priorities, savings objectives, supplier management, risk mitigation, and operational requirements.\n\nPartner and engage with senior stakeholders, including C-suite, to align procurement strategies with enterprise objectives, transformation initiatives, and functional priorities.\n\nProvide market intelligence, supplier insights, and category expertise to support strategic decision-making, long-term planning activities, evolving business and Technology priorities, and alignment of category strategies with key stakeholders.\nSupport and contribute to enterprise digitalization initiatives and evolving Technology strategies, including alignment to broader AI-related priorities where applicable.\nSupplier & Commercial Management\nLead strategic sourcing activities, supplier selection decisions, contracting activities, and complex commercial negotiations across the assigned Technology categories.\n\nDevelop and maintain strategic supplier relationships, governance models, and risk mitigation approaches to support cost optimization, service quality, scalability, operational resilience, and broader risk management objectives.\n\nOversee contracting, supplier governance, and commercial management activities in partnership with Legal, Finance, Security, Privacy, Operations, and business stakeholders.\n\nSupport adherence to procurement governance standards, enterprise policies, and sourcing controls across the Technology procurement portfolio.\n\nFinancial & Business Value Delivery\nOwn category savings targets and identify opportunities for demand management, vendor consolidation, commercial optimization, process improvement, and broader procurement value creation.\n\nMonitor supplier performance, category spendtrends, contractual commitments, and market conditions to proactively identify risks and optimization opportunities.\n\nSupport budgeting, forecasting, and spend management activities related to the Technology procurement portfolio.\n\nLeadership & Capability Development\nLead, develop, and mentor a globally distributed procurement team while fostering a collaborative, customer-focused, and high-performance environment.\n\nSupport capability development, knowledge sharing, and implementation of procurement best practices across category management and supplier management activities.\n\nCoach and mentor procurement talent to support organizational capability growth and future procurement leadership development.\n\nQualifications - Experience\nMinimum:\n10+ years of progressive procurement, sourcing, or category management experience within complex global organizations.\n\n5 years' experience supporting Technology/IT procurement categories, including software, infrastructure, cloud, hardware, telecommunications, cybersecurity, and/or IT services.\n\nDemonstrated experience developing and executing category strategies across large and complex global spend portfolios.\n\nExperience leading strategic supplier negotiations and managing executive-level supplier relationships.\n\nExperience partnering with senior business and Technology stakeholders in a matrixed global environment.\n\nExperience leading geographically distributed teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.\n\nStrong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\n\nPreferred:\nExperience supporting procurement transformation, operating model redesign, or global centralization initiatives.
