Our global footprint makes us one of the few true global players in the BPO industry.\n\nThe Opportunity:\n\nWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Data Engineer / Senior Data Engineerto support the development, optimisation, and ongoing evolution of Foundever's data platform. This role will play a critical part in building and maintaining a scalable Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture on Databricks, enabling high-quality operational and business reporting across the organisation.\nWorking closely with global stakeholders, the Data Engineer will lead data migration and consolidation efforts from existing host systems, ensuring data is reliable, secure, and fit for analytics and reporting use cases.\nThis is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys building robust data pipelines, solving complex data challenges, and working collaboratively across technical and business teams.\n\nKey Responsibilities:\n\nData Architecture & Engineering\n\nLead the migration of data from existing host systems into a modern Data Lake and Data Warehouse architecture on Databricks/Azure.\n\nDesign, build, and optimise scalable, efficient data pipelines and workflows to support operational and business reporting.\n\nConsolidate data from multiple internal and external sources into a unified, trusted data repository.\n\nDatabricks Development\n\nDevelop, maintain, and optimise Databricks workflows, ensuring reliable, timely, and high-performance data delivery.\n\nImplement best practices in data engineering, including performance optimisation, monitoring, and cost efficiency.\n\nData Modelling & Reporting Enablement\n\nDesign and implement robust data models to support downstream analytics, BI tools, and reporting requirements.\n\nSupport the migration of existing reporting infrastructure from on prem to Azure, ensuring continuity and data integrity.\n\nSupport the BI report setup using tableau or powerbi\n\nData Quality, Governance & Security\n\nEnsure high standards of data quality, accuracy, and consistency throughout the data lifecycle.\n\nProactively identify and resolve data quality issues.\n\nEnsure all solutions adhere to data governance, security, and privacy best practices.\n\nCollaboration & Stakeholder Engagement\n\nWork closely with cross-functional teams including data scientists, analytics teams, IT, and business stakeholders.\n\nPartner with US and UK-based client teams to deliver data solutions aligned to business and reporting needs.\n\nDocumentation & Delivery\n\nCreate and maintain clear, comprehensive technical documentation covering pipelines, workflows, and data models.\n\nContribute to agile delivery processes, including version control, code reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.\n\nYour profile & experience:\n\nMinimum 5 years experience as a Data Engineer, ideally in cloud-based environments such as Databricks, AWS, or Azure.\n\nStrong experience designing and building ETL pipelines for large, complex datasets.\n\nSolid understanding of data lake and data warehouse architectures and data modelling techniques.\n\nAdvanced SQL skills and experience working with large-scale datasets.\n\nAdvanced knowledge of python programming language\n\nExperience integrating data from multiple systems and sources to create a unified data model.\n\nExperience working with BI and reporting tools such as Tableau, or Power BI.\n\nExperience working in agile development environments and using version control tools (e.g. Git).\n\nStrong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and non-technical
