This position will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the company's enterprise networking infrastructure, including global WAN/SDWAN, Wireless LAN, WAN Optimization, Secure Access Secure Edge (SASE) services, Load Balancing, and Internet. The Network Engineer will also be responsible for maintaining documentation, testing processes, and providing support for security (Firewall, VPN, IPS, Proxy) applications\nResponsibilities:\nDesign, develop, and implement network infrastructure solutions to support the company's business needs\nDeploy and manage network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers\nConfigure and troubleshoot network issues, including performance problems, security breaches, and connectivity issues\nImplement and manage WAN optimization solutions to improve network performance\nImplement and manage secure access and edge services to protect the company's network from unauthorized access\nMonitor network performance and proactively identify and resolve potential problems\nStay up-to-date on the latest network technologies and trends\nMaintain documentation, testing processes, and provide support for security (Firewall, VPN, IPS, Proxy) applications\nAttend meetings with management and clients and contribute suggestions, and provide answers in a professional manner\nDrive and work as part of a team on larger projects\nPossess excellent written and verbal communication skills\nQualifications:\nFour-year degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.\n5+ years of experience in network engineering\nStrong understanding of network architecture, protocols, and security best practices\nExperience with global WAN/SDWAN, Wireless LAN, WAN Optimization, SASE services, Load Balancing, and Internet\nExperience with Cisco Catalyst, Nexus, ASA/Firepower, and Checkpoint firewalls\nPractical understanding of VOIP/SIP\nCisco CCNA certification (preferred)\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills\nAdditional Skills that Would Be Beneficial:\nExperience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware and Citrix\nExperience with cloud computing platforms, such as AWS and Azure\nKnowledge of automation tools, such as Ansible and Python\nFamiliarity with containerization technologies, such as Kubernetes and Docker\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team\nAbility to travel up to 15%\nAbility to work different shifts and extended hours\nAbility to lift 40lbs overhead\nValid driver's license\nWhat We Offer\nImpactful work.
