The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, maintaining the integrity of the general ledger, and supporting statutory and audit requirements across multiple entities in one country.\nThis role requires strong technical accounting expertise, the ability to manage competing deadlines, and a proactive approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment.\nThis position is based in Warsaw and requires full-time on-site presence (5 days per week in the office).\nResponsibilities \nManage full general ledger accounting for assigned legal entities\nPerform and review monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing activities\nPrepare and post journal entries, accruals, and prepayments\nPerform balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of reconciling items\nMaintain fixed asset register and depreciation schedules\nEnsure compliance with local GAAP and IFRS requirements\nSupport preparation of statutory financial statements and liaise with external auditors\nAssist with internal and external audits by preparing supporting documentation\nCoordinate with AP,AR, HR, and Tax teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial data\nSupport intercompany reconciliations and transactions\nContribute to process improvements and standardization initiatives\nEnsure adherence to internal controls and company policies\nExperience & Skills\nMaster degree in Accounting, Finance or related\nAt least 5 years of experience in accounting\nExperience working with multiple legal entities\nVery good knowledge of accounting principles, US GAAP and FRS 102\nExperience supporting statutory audits\nExcellent communication skills\nFluent Polish and English (C1-C2) (written and spoken)\nOther European languages will be a strong advantage\nProficiency in MS Office tools, especially MS Excel\nExperience with MS D365 is strong advantage\nExperience in process transitions\nAbility to work independently
