If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact and advancing your career, OneSky is the place for you.\nPosition Summary\nThe Clinical Team Leader provides direct oversite and support to OneSky’s youth and family service programs, including Integrated Family Development, Reconnect, Parent/Youth Counselling, Youth Peer Support, School-Based Support Programs, Sexual Assault Intervention Program, FASD Keyworker Program, and Adult Counselling Services. This position works within a multi-provider partnership to support a dynamic team. The Team Leader is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the assigned programs, including programming, budgeting, personnel supervision, caseload assignment, case supervision, reporting, adherence to government, legislative and contractual obligations, health and safety, and for maintaining service integrity.\nKey Responsibilities\nClinical Supervision \nProvides direct supervision for the Integrated Family Development (IFD) and other clinical staff. \nProvides direct clinical and case supervision, consultation and case support for all IFD staff. \nCo-develop clinical policies and processes with the Director of Programs and Services, staff and partner agencies \nParticipates in performance evaluation of IFD staff, including resulting learning goals and performance management. \nProvides intake screening, assessment and treatment planning as part of an interdisciplinary and interagency team \nProvides individual, group and family counselling for people with complex service need \nEmploys advanced practice interventions such as DBT, CBT, motivational interviewing, case conferencing, and other evidence-based therapeutic modalities; evaluating the clinical results in team \nProvides crisis intervention and support to youth and their families \nRefers youth and their families to other services, residential programs, and support groups as required \nCollaborates and consults with other service providers to provide needed services toyouth and families \n\nMaintains computerized client records \nLiaises with and/or promotes the interests of clients with other community service providers, professionals and school personnel.\nOperational Supervision\nOversees the day-to-day operation of the programs by ensuring that the necessary facilities and equipment are in place, program guidelines and policies are adhered to, and program standards and applicable licensing requirements are met.\nLiaises with funders, community service providers and other professionals to coordinate service provision, facilitate referrals to the programs and represents the organization or programs in external events.\nPlans and develop programs in consultation with senior management. Plans and implements program activities and special events.\nFormulates program policies and procedures and evaluates the programs in consultation with senior management.\nPromotes public awareness of and support for the programs by performing duties such as assisting in the development of promotional materials and attending community events.\nPeople Management\nSupervises program personnel by performing duties such as providing feedback on performance, conducting performance evaluations, and engaging in progressive discipline.\nParticipates in the recruitment and selection of program personnel by performing duties such as screening applicants, participating in interview panels, and making hiring recommendations.\nOrients determines the need for and provides training to program personnel.\nSchedules program personnel in accordance with program requirements and approve time entries.\nFinance and Reporting\nMonitors and authorizes program expenditures and maintains financial records in accordance with established procedures.\nAssists in preparing the program budget for submission and presentation to senior management.\nMaintains related records and statistics and produces reports as required. Completes reporting as required within funding contracts.\nGeneral Responsibilities\nSupports the mission, vision, and values of OneSky Community Resources Society.\nRole model a positive and professional attitude and work effectively to build solutions and solve problems.\nPerforms other related duties as required\nQualifications\nMaster’s degree in social work, Counselling, Psychology, or another related human / social service field.\nRegistered Clinical Counsellor, or Equivalent.\nProcess of obtaining, or willing to obtain a clinical supervision designation such as the RCC-ACS certification.\nFour (4) years of recent related experience including three (3) year supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.\nComputer literacy.\nRequirements\nSuccessful completion of a Criminal Record Check\nProfessional references\nEducational transcripts\nSigned confidentiality agreement\nCommitment to the organization’s Code of Ethics, policies, and procedures\nValid driver’s license (Class 5 License) and access to a personal vehicle\nCompletion of required OneSky training for all employees\nFlexible work schedule as travel within the South Okanagan/Similkameen region may be necessary, as this position may be assigned to specific services or geographic areas within our service delivery region\nWhy Work at OneSky?\nAt OneSky, you’ll be part of a purpose-driven organization that has been making a meaningful difference in the South Okanagan Similkameen for over 60 years.
