In this role, you will serve as a key point of contact for drivers and warehouse personnel, ensuring accurate load preparation, shipping documentation, and timely outbound operations. \nShift Time: 9AM - 6PM, Monday to Friday \nIn This Role\nCoordinate driver check-in and check-out processes, ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate \nPrepare and process shipping paperwork, including bills of lading (BOLs), manifests, packing lists, and delivery documents \nBuild and release customer orders in the warehouse management system to support outbound shipping operations \nVerify shipment accuracy by reviewing order details, quantities, and destination information \nCommunicate with warehouse teams, carriers, and supervisors to ensure efficient load scheduling and execution \nMaintain accurate shipping records and update system information as needed \nInvestigate and resolve shipping discrepancies in a timely manner \nSupport inventory and shipping audits as required \nMaintain a safe, organized, and clean work environment while adhering to company policies and procedures \nOther duties as assigned, in accordance with training and qualifications\nUphold the Core Values and be a valuable member of the Four Hands TeamBe open and honest\nReach for excellence\nAct with responsibility\nValue the whole person\nEnjoy the journey\n\nThe Ideal Person\n1+ year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse administration, or distribution center operations preferred \nHigh school diploma or GED required \nExperience working with shipping documents, including bills of lading, manifests, and carrier paperwork \nStrong computer skills, including experience with warehouse management systems, Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and other business applications \nExcellent attention to detail and organizational skills \nStrong communication and customer service skills when interacting with drivers, carriers, and internal teams \nAbility to prioritize tasks and work effectively in a fast-paced environment \nComfortable working in a warehouse setting and occasionally walking the floor to verify shipments and loads \nWillingness to work overtime as needed \nSteel-toed boots or shoes are required during work hours \nAbout Four Hands\nHeadquartered in Austin, Texas, since 1996, Four Hands crafts furniture, art and décor - pieces that are all about creating space.
