As an employee-owned company, we have built our compensation, benefits, and culture around a simple idea: when the company succeeds, that value should go back to the people doing the work.\nAbout the role\nFour Sea Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in radar analysis to support the development, evaluation, and advancement of complex radar and mission capabilities.\nThis role contributes to Four Sea Group’s ability to help customers translate operational needs into technically sound, mission-effective solutions. The engineer will evaluate radar and signal-processing performance, support the development and integration of algorithms, analyze system behavior, and help ensure that delivered capabilities meet mission objectives throughout the systems engineering lifecycle.\nThe ideal candidate combines strong radar and signal-processing knowledge with systems thinking, analytical depth, and practical modeling or prototyping experience. This role requires the ability to independently own significant analytical efforts, evaluate technical tradeoffs, communicate findings to engineering and program stakeholders, and collaborate across software, systems, mission, and test teams.\nDepending on background and program need, candidates may specialize in radar performance analysis, signal processing, algorithm development, tracking and state estimation, modeling and simulation, or mission-level systems analysis.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or another relevant STEM field, or equivalent practical experience.\nTypically eight or more years of relevant systems engineering, radar, signal processing, mission engineering, algorithm development, or related technical experience.\nActive DoD Secret security clearance at the time of application\nExperience with radar systems and radar performance analysis.\nExperience applying signal-processing concepts to complex technical or mission problems.\nExperience working through the systems engineering lifecycle, including translating system or mission requirements into analytical, algorithmic, or technical solutions.\nExperience performing functional, performance, or operational analysis of complex systems.\nExperience using MATLAB or comparable analytical tools for modeling, analysis, or code prototyping.\nAbility to independently plan and execute significant technical analysis efforts and synthesize results from multiple technical sources.\nAbility to evaluate technical performance, identify risks or tradeoffs, and communicate findings to engineering, program, and customer stakeholders.\nStrong problem-solving, analytical reasoning, and technical communication skills.\nAbility to work effectively within cross-functional engineering teams.\nPreferred Qualifications\nCandidates may bring expertise in one or more of the following areas:\nRadar architecture, mode development, or sensor performance analysis.\nRadar Blake Charts or comparable techniques for operational performance assessment.\nDevelopment, integration, or evaluation of radar algorithms.\nTracking, state estimation, or data-fusion algorithms.\nKinematic trajectory or threat analysis.\nMission scenario modeling and simulation.\nTechnology and system-performance trade studies.\nRequirements derivation, decomposition, allocation, or interface analysis.\nMission engineering activities across the Systems Engineering “V”.\nPython, modern C++, C, Java, or other programming languages used for algorithm development, prototyping, or analysis.\nApplied mathematics, including linear algebra, statistics, numerical methods, control theory, optimization, or frequency-domain analysis.\nMulti-INT or multi-sensor data fusion.\nLinux-based development or analytical environments.\nGit, GitLab, Jira, Confluence, or comparable engineering collaboration and configuration-management tools.\nContainerization technologies such as Docker or Podman.\nAgile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.\nExperience supporting radar, space, defense, intelligence, or other mission-critical systems.\nExperience preparing or presenting technical findings to customers or senior technical stakeholders.\nExperience providing technical guidance or mentorship to other engineers.\nSalary: The salary range for this role is $148,000.00-$213,600.00per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
