Responsible for maintaining close, continuous surveillance of all assigned non-gaming areas and the entire property, in order to protect life and property at the casino.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:\nSupervise the daily activities of the Security Dispatch 2 team, ensuring that all tasks and incidents are handled efficiently and effectively.\nMonitor the performance of the Security Dispatch 2 team, providing regular feedback, guidance, and coaching to promote professional development and growth\nMaintains adequate staffing levels, by interviewing, selecting, training, scheduling, evaluating, promoting and disciplining employees, as needed.\nMaintain security-related documentation, including incident reports, logs, and records, ensuring that all required information is accurate, complete, and up-to-date.\nEnsure that all security personnel receive the necessary training, resources, and support to carry out their duties effectively.\nActs as a back-up to Security Dispatcher 2 on assigned shift, and assumes their duties when necessary.\nRespond to security incidents, ensuring that appropriate actions are taken to protect guests, employees, and property.\nCoordinate with other departments, law enforcement, and regulatory agencies as necessary to address security-related issues and concerns.\nDirects the flow of security reports/information to the appropriate areas while maintaining the highest level of confidentiality according to established protocols, policies, and procedures.\nAssigns Security Officers as needed to detail and requests for personnel from other departments as well as responding to outside agencies as needed.\nNotifies Shift Manager/ Assistant Shift Manager/Floor Supervisor of any pertinent conditions as needed and as directed.\nPromotes positive guest and employee relations through prompt, courteous and efficient service.\nFacilitates the flow of information throughout the property, by attending regularly scheduled departmental meetings.\nHeld accountable, to a high degree, for the accuracy and thoroughness of departmental records and reports.\nActs as a representative of the property, in meeting with guests, employees and witnesses, to investigate security-related incidents.\nMaintains knowledge of all department Policies and Procedures, the Emergency Action Plan, Crisis Communication Plan, as well as standard operating procedures of Local Law Enforcement and Emergency Medical Services as applies to the Casino and its attendant properties.\nMakes suggestions and recommendations, as appropriate, for improvements to policies, procedures, or the facility.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Explains why we do things, in advance of doing them.\nSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:\nAssists in the direct supervision of all Security Dispatcher 2 staff.\nQUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:\nTwo (2) or more year of experience in security or law enforcement or related field. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Some college preferred.\nSPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:\nComputer literate in Microsoft Excel, Access and Word, Outlook or related software as well as\ncurrent dispatch software packages. Strong communication and typing skills required. Ability to multi-task is critical as operations will include simultaneous use of surveillance, computer, radio, and emergency equipment in a responsible manner. Must possess excellent observational and communication skills. Must be able to keep personal and sensitive material or information confidential.\nThis position requires a Level 2 Gaming License.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to write effective reports and memos. Ability to respond to inquiries from employees or guests. Ability to communicate effectively in one-on-one, small group, and large group situations.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent, and to interpret data from graphs.\nREASONING ABILITY:\nAbility to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud.
