Logistics & Distribution Center Manager
Role Purpose
We are looking for a hands-on Logistics Manager to take responsibility for the day-to-day operation of our warehouse and coordinate closely with distribution teams to ensure accurate, timely and efficient order fulfilment.
This role is built around active presence on the warehouse floor: organizing daily workloads, guiding the team, monitoring progress and resolving operational issues as they arise.
The company operates extensive, modern and well-organized Logistics facilities and is preparing for further expansion. The successful candidate will help maintain high operational standards and contribute to improvements in warehouse layout, equipment, systems and working practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, dispatch and returns.
- Allocate tasks, set daily priorities and ensure the team delivers against operational targets.
- Lead, train and support warehouse employees and team leaders through clear direction and regular feedback.
- Monitor order accuracy, productivity, stock accuracy and dispatch times.
- Ensure consistent use of the WMS and compliance with warehouse processes.
- Coordinate with transportation, customer service and commercial teams to support smooth deliveries and resolve daily issues.
- Maintain high standards of safety, housekeeping and equipment care.
- Identify practical improvements that reduce errors, delays and unnecessary handling.
- Support the implementation of warehouse expansion and operational improvement projects.
The Profile
We are looking for a warehouse professional with:
- Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager, Warehouse Supervisor or Logistics Manager in an organized, high-volume operation.
- Strong practical knowledge of warehouse processes, from goods receipt to dispatch.
- Experience in directly supervising warehouse teams and organizing daily workloads.
- Confidence working with WMS systems, inventory controls and operational reports.
- The ability to manage pressure, adjust priorities and solve problems quickly.
- A visible, approachable and decisive leadership style.
- A strong focus on accuracy, productivity, safety and reliable execution.
- A good working knowledge of English.
Experience in warehouse reorganizations, facility expansions or the introduction of new equipment and systems will be considered an advantage.
