As an employee-owned company, we have built our compensation, benefits, and culture around a simple idea: when the company succeeds, that value should go back to the people doing the work.\nAbout the role\nFour Sea Group is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer specializing in systems integration and test to support the development, integration, verification, and validation of complex mission systems.\nThis role contributes to Four Sea Group’s ability to translate customer requirements into reliable fielded capabilities by connecting systems-engineering analysis with hands-on integration and verification. The engineer will independently support defined system-level efforts, evaluate hardware and software interactions, develop and execute test approaches, troubleshoot anomalous behavior, and help ensure technical solutions account for mission, schedule, cost, and lifecycle considerations.\nThe ideal candidate brings practical systems-engineering judgment combined with strong integration and test experience. This role requires the ability to understand how requirements flow into hardware and software solutions, evaluate system interfaces and tradeoffs, and collaborate across engineering disciplines to improve technical readiness and successful program delivery.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or another relevant technical field, or equivalent practical experience.\nRelevant systems engineering, integration, test, verification, or mission-focused engineering experience; the customer requirement allows approximately three years with a bachelor’s degree, one year with a master’s degree, or equivalent additional experience in lieu of a degree.\nActive DoD TS/SCI security clearance at the time of application.\nExperience supporting system integration, verification, validation, or system-level test activities.\nExperience translating customer or product requirements into hardware and software system solutions.\nExperience developing test plans, test procedures, checkout procedures, and technical reports.\nExperience with requirements analysis, allocation, interface definition, or comparable systems-engineering activities.\nUnderstanding of system/product lifecycle concepts and established engineering practices.\nExperience working with both Linux- and Windows-based systems.\nExperience installing or supporting software using Docker.\nExperience collecting and evaluating test or instrumentation data.\nExperience troubleshooting anomalous behavior involving both hardware and software.\nExperience with Jira, Confluence, or comparable engineering collaboration and issue-tracking tools.\nWorking proficiency with standard Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project.\nAbility to independently support a defined systems integration and test scope and coordinate effectively across hardware, software, and test teams.\nAbility and willingness to travel internationally for approximately 7-14 days at a time, up to approximately 20% annually.\nStrong written and verbal communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detailed trade studies, or system-effectiveness assessments.\nExperience integrating and testing ground-station systems.\nKnowledge of antenna systems, RF concepts, or related communications-system technologies.\nExperience installing and supporting applications using Kubernetes.\nExperience in space, satellite ground, defense, intelligence, or other mission-critical environments.\nExperience with MBSE concepts, models, or system artifacts.\nExperience supporting broader verification and validation activities throughout the engineering lifecycle.\nSalary: The salary range for this role is $140,000.00-$186,000.00per year. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
