Assists on projects assigned to the department, administrates cosmetic repairs to the facility finishes, and assists in all areas of facilities maintenance as directed.\nESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:\nWorks under the close direction of senior personnel to assists on projects assigned to the department, including but not limited to cosmetic repairs to the facility finishes, assists in all areas of facilities maintenance including but not limited to:\nRoutine inspections of all lighting throughout the property, identifying and resolving potential problems.\nResponds to maintenance requests and in-house calls in the designated time frame.\nMaintains pool facilities (if they exist at the property) as assigned.\nWorks independently and advises supervisor of additional assistance needed.\nMaintains a neat, clean, and organized work area in the engineering shop.\nPrepares daily work forms.\nMaintains a working knowledge and understanding of all rules, regulations and controls.\nAdheres to safety policies and procedures and OSHA regulations.\nThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by individuals assigned to this position. Must have basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and air conditioning maintenance.\nEPA I & II or Universal license, Certified Pool Operator preferred\nSPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:\nMust have a valid driver’s license and maintain a good driving record.\nApplicant must successfully complete a physical abilities test for essential functions of this job, including a color blindness test to distinguish color.\nThis position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.\nLANGUAGE SKILLS:\nAbility to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as policy and procedure manuals, maintenance instructions, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or guests.\nMATHEMATICAL SKILLS:\nAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.\nREASONING ABILITY:\nAbility to apply common sense reasoning to variety of situations.\nPHYSICAL DEMANDS:\nThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
