Fox TV StationsFOX Television Stations (FTS) owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations, including stations in 14 of the top 15 markets and duopolies in 11. Eighteen are FOX Network affiliates, and together the stations produce approximately 1,300 hours of local news every week. FOX LOCAL, the company's free ad-supported digital and streaming product, extends that news, weather and local content across connected TV & mobile devices. LiveNOW from FOX expands the FTS portfolio even further as the only national streaming services to be truly live 24/7, covering breaking news and events as they happen.

At FOX 9, we are deeply invested in local news and the journalists who bring it to life. We are seeking a dynamic Reporter who wants to do impactful work that reaches millions. If you dominate the vertical video space, thirst for the resources to create long-form presentations, and thrive on the adrenaline of live reporting, this is your newsroom.

Key Responsibilities & Qualifications:

• Deliver exceptional, unscripted live reporting across broadcast, digital, and live streaming platforms.
• Mastermind engaging vertical videos tailored for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube to build massive reach.
• Bridge the gap between immediate live streaming, viral short-form digital content, and in-depth, long-form broadcast journalism.
• A track record of dominating live streams and delivering compelling, unscripted live TV reporting.
• Savvy social media strategies and vertical storytelling skills for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts.
• A raging curiosity to develop original sources, break meaningful local news, and translate that into deep, long-form journalism.
• A collaborative mindset to help evolve our forward-thinking newsroom culture across all live and digital platforms.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $75,000.00-85,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
