This role is responsible for overseeing large-scale invoice processing and company-wide payment operations across multiple business units.\nThe ideal candidate will drive operational excellence, ensure strong internal controls, and lead continuous process improvement initiatives. This role requires a hands-on leader with deep expertise in high-volume environments, AP systems, and scalable procure-to-pay operations.\nA SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES\nLead, mentor, and develop a high-performing AP team in a shared services environment\nLead automation initiatives (OCR, touchless processing, AI-driven capture tools) \nSet clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations \nFoster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture \nOversee end-to-end processing of high-volume invoice intake and payment execution across multiple payment methods \nOversee AP account reconciliations, return payments, and ensure timely resolution of discrepancies \nOversee company-wide payment and settlement processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness \nManage throughput, backlog, and workload distribution to maintain operational efficiency \nDrive cycle time reduction and improve processing accuracy \nIncrease straight-through processing (STP) and reduce manual intervention\nIdentify and implement scalable process improvements across the procure-to-pay lifecycle \nEnsure SLA adherence for invoice processing, approvals, and payment cycles \nEnsure strong internal controls over invoice processing and payment execution (e.g., duplicate detection, segregation of duties, fraud prevention) \nEnsure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements \nMaintain audit readiness and support SOX compliance and internal/external audits \nMaintain strong vendor relationships and resolve escalated invoice and payment issues \nPartner with Procurement, Finance, and business stakeholders to optimize P2P processes \nDrive supplier adoption of digital tools (e.g., Coupa Supplier Portal) \nDefine and track KPIs such as invoice cycle time, first-pass yield, exception rates, cost per invoice, and on-time payment performance \nProvide data-driven insights and reporting to leadership \nMonitor payment runs and ensure proper controls and approvals are in place\nWHAT YOU WILL NEED\nBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field\n7+ years of progressive Accounts Payable Manager experience\nExperience driving process transformation and automation initiatives \nProven experience managing high-volume Accounts Payable operations in a shared services environment \nStrong understanding of accounting principles, Accounts Payable processes, and financial controls \nStrong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills \nAdvanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, data analysis) \nAbility to operate in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment \nNICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER\nExperience with Coupa / Workday\nWe are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, gender identity, disability, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
