We look forward to hearing from you!\nPosition Summary:\nInspects finished products, products being processed, incoming materials, parts and assemblies, etc. for conformance to company standards.\nPosition Responsibilities:\nChecks randomly selected samples and verifies accuracy of equipment or process.\nReports conditions requiring immediate repair.\nUses advanced inspection methods to develop and conduct quality programs. \nWorks under general supervision.\nKeeps records and makes reports indicating results of inspections.\nUses experience and judgment for planning and accomplishing goals.\nMay inspect work areas to detect unsafe conditions.\nMay obtain samples to conduct studies in laboratory analysis and determines measures to be taken to remedy deviations from standards. \nConduct Product and Process audits and LPA (Layered process audits).\nSpecific Knowledge, Skills or Abilities Required:\nStrong and accurate data entry skills\nIntermediate skills in using Microsoft tools (Outlook, Word, Excel)\nExcellent organization skills\nExcellent problem-solving skills.\nSelf-motivated - able to work with minimal supervision\nUse of powered hand tools\nOperating a Forklift\nTesting of raw materials and/or finished products, which may or may not include industry standard test methods (e.g. ANSI/ASME measuring standards)\nPosition Qualifications:\nEducation:\nHS graduate or equivalent\nExperience:\n1+ years of experience in quality and/or inventory\nPrevious experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T)\nPrevious experience with Oracle, SAP or other database management systems\nWork Environment and Physical Requirements:\nActivity\nConstantly - 6+ hours : Stand, Walk, Twist/Turn, Stoop/Bend\nFrequently - 3 to 6 hrs. : Lift to 50 lbs.\nManufacturing Environment\nWorking in hot and cold climates\nPersonal Protective Equipment - Ear protection is readily available in high level noise areas\nWorking around machinery with moving parts\nWorking around moving objects or vehicles,\nPotential for slippery and uneven walking surfaces including use of ladders\nWorking in close proximity to others\nExposure to offensive odors\nVision abilities required to validate and enter data on computer as well as calibrated measurement tools\nExposures to and working with hazardous waste\nDisclaimer: This list does not represent all physical demands.
